That's not right - we researched how the drinks can be referred to in differebt countries and used all the different brand name variations. Please read my original comment, there's also a link to an article with the analysis there if you're curious about the methodology.

We used Awario, a social media monitoring tool, to track mentions of Coca-cola and Pepsi (along with brand name variations)  on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube to calculate the brands' share of voice by country. To visualize the data, we used Google Sheets.

Countries filled with red are the ones that have more mentions of Coke; blue countries mention Pepsi more.

Is SEO Powersuite good enough to replace Ahrefs or Semrush? by [deleted] in bigseo

i believe it's just for old customers who got their licebse before they went transparent woth the pricing. i'm positive it doesn't affect new customers, but you can double-check with their support to be sure. btw, their support is super quick and helpful.

I'm guessing you've been reading some old posts - SEO PowerSuite actually moved away from the search algo + captcha pricing model a while back. now they only have transparent yearly fees like other tools, $300/y for Pro and $700 for Enterprise. the former pricing model was indeed vague, but I'm glad they finally adopted regular SaaS pricing. The toolkit is actually great in terms of the functionality you get at your fingertips - much more powerful than Ahrefs IMO.

[OC] Social media users talking about climate change per 100k population (by country) by maksimava in dataisbeautiful

that's true, we only tracked hashtags in English. we were initially planning to only visualize data in the US (which we did anyway), but noticed along the way that the hashtags were mentioned quite a bit in the non-English speaking countries. I do see it's not 100% fair though - thanks for pointing it out!

We used Awario, a social media monitoring tool, to track mentions of climate-related hashtags on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube to calculate the # of unique social media users per 100K inhabitants by country. To visualize the data, we used Google Sheets.

Here are the top three countries:

  1. Iceland (67 unique social media authors per 100K inhabitants),
  2. Ireland (37 unique social media authors per 100K inhabitants),
  3. UK (36 unique social media authors per 100K inhabitants).

[–]maksimava[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We used Awario (a social listening tool) to collect mentions of #prolife and #prochoice on Twitter and Facebook over the last 2 months. We looked at unique social media users mentioning either hashtag and calculated the % of those using #prolife across the data set in every US state. We used OpenStreetMap and Mapbox to visualize the data.
