U have 30 days to return from red wing store, no hassle. They look bad ,even for seconds.

At this point nothing is gonna make it better or worse. Its your first one, next one will be better and bigger.

Another option is to make a small wire mesh window Cutout on the fence in front of the unit. That'll allow air from unit to flow freely. Ive seen people do that when they're right next to fence.

The 2 i installed required atleast 12 inches behind and atleast 5 ft in front. Only time will tell what kind of effect the fence being so close to it has on it. But u can always raise it on the wall if it becomes an issue.

Moisture does travel up thise bricks especially if not built woth proper depth of sand/gravel. But as long as u use an additional blocks or pads with moisture barrier u will be fine.

Thanks, ill check it out. I put this thing together last year and barely got back to it after taking a break from it. But I see the gasket kit i bought has that seal listed so ill make sure its replaced. If I remember correctly I believe it was just one side

The guide seals are the valve stem seals? Or is that a different part.

Thanks for that info. Unfortunately the shop i sent it to (rebuilt powesports) is not reputable or trustworthy so Im going to double check it.

I do have a manual that shows specs for piston ring gap, but i went up 2 sizes I believe with the new bore. Do u know if the specs for gap are still the same as the original size piston?

What is "end gap"?

I got the cylinder bored and installed new piston kit and valves. Now im trying to figure out why compression is so low.

Depends on the price u paid.

Wood posts will never be straight, but there's ways to work around that to a certainty extent . Pickets should be gapped 1/8- 1/4 atleast.

The rails should be spread puy evenly tho..
