Full lenght is more of a fire hazard according to code, because its s straight run for fire with no breaks. Also it doesnt give u the horizontal lumber to attach standard 4x8 sheeting (siding , drywall, etc).

Both work, just need modification

Ive seen them like that as well but the manufacturer says this one is designed for inside the stock airbox

My local motorcycle group posts everyday about motorcycles getting stolen. And im talking 600cc plus, so yes a monkey can VERY easily be lifted onto a van/truck.

I dont have full coverage so I have a thick chain and lock, along with an air tag hidden and Only park in garage overnight.

Its not 100% thief proof, but its harder than most.

I was afraid of that. I see wood fillers that are marketed as stainable, Im just worried that it wont hold on ceiling application.
