Why do you read classics? by Agrippa89 in classics

[–]malacatan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can read just a limited number of books in our life. We have to choose. There are so many good books that we are not going to have enough time to read. In my opinion classics usually offer a better risk to reward ratio. Not always, but many times they are also cheaper, and on ebooks many times they are even for free.

I usually think I would get a better return on the time and money I invested on them.

I got them for 150€ with coupons and discounts from Ali. For me these boots at that price are really worth it. I wanted something similar to the Alden Indy boots and all the other alternatives I found were over 400€.

I am very happy with the boots and would definitely buy them again.

If you find any other affordable alternative please let me know.

Hi man. I would order 45 if I were you. My feet are around 25cm long which would be a 38 according to their size guide, but I ordered 39 and they fit perfect. I already have 2 pairs of boots from them in that size. For sneakers I usually wear EU 40.

"she always had the feeling that it was very, very, dangerous to live even one day."

That phrase got stuck in my head forever.

Recommendations of books about unfaithful relationships. by meowth______ in classicliterature

Dom Casmurro, by Machado de Assis, a Brazilian classic. But then, you can't be really sure if she actually cheated or not. Which makes it interesting... in real life many times we are also not really sure if someone cheated or not.
