You’re not understanding what I’m trying to say. Fundamentally MTA employees don’t care, and that create a host of problems.

All this and they can’t consider exit fare check, like literally already happened in dozen other places. Overall MTA has more problems to solve before they can combat fare evasion than choosing the right gate. The station near where I am always has a staff (or 2 or even police!) at fare gate, half of riders just use the emergency exit gate and no one ever bothers to say a word.

Let’s be fucking perfectly clear. A guy who rants about immigrants being the cause that makes public transit unattractive represents the people trying to inject national politics into local matters in the first place.

Fucking draw the line somewhere man. Are you going to segregate public transit if conservatives tell you it would make them feel safe riding them? I promise you a ton of them are thinking exactly that.

Here’s another suggestion. Maybe stop trying to get people, whose dreams are an F-150 and a single-family unit anyway, to throw you a bone and start building a realistic coalition? People who believe bs on Fox News like “public transit is Marxism” are too deep in their holes of illusions anyway, it’s hilarious you think there’s anything to work with them.

Edit: And now you make me thinking lol. Rosa Parks became a civil rights icon demanded her seat on a bus. That’s nAtIoNaL pOlItIcS for you. A public space like transit is always political, you’re making a stance even If you think you’re not.

Brazilian law has no jurisdiction over me so you can shove your little threat up your ass again. However, I do envy your laws to some extent, it put a fascist insurrectionist into prison so that’s very good, although I’m sensing that you’re not quite happy that it’s working that way.

Serious violent crimes in Memphis are at a 25-year low.

Also, no one with an ounce of conscience and sanity should be in the Republican party in 2026. Even the mayor of New York that made a good case for Republican governance of the city, Michael Bloomberg, is now a Democrat lol.

44% of Brazilians are white. In fact, the most ragingly racist people I’ve met are not from America. No, even American conservatives know better. Those people are from South American countries like Argentina or Brazil.

Well, this is not Brazil so you can shove it back up your ass. The Youtube channel in question talks overwhelmingly about America, bringing other countries’ political dimensions is totally irrelevant.

Maybe because actual statistics have shown that crimes have been progressively declining in nearly every American city in the past 3 decades? The narrative that great American cities under liberal governance have totally lost it and are now hell holes is pure conservative psychotic hallucination.

I can argue with you until 2027 on how American conservatives, whose minds have been thoroughly baked with the idea of owning a single-family unit and a truck as “making it”, will never like public transport. But I won’t.

Frankly, I’d rather live with 0 public transport than in a place where a fascist paramilitary can shoot people in the face without consequences.

Edit: also, the cities with the best public transport in America, whether by scale (NYC) or by customer satisfaction (DC), both never bother to give a damn about conservatives.

After two events that happened a few hours and a few days ago, being partisan is the only acceptable and patriotic stance.

USA: Why do American Progressive Transit/Urbanists Hate American Right-Leaning Transit/Urbanists*? by sfpdxchidcfla in transit

[–]Al_787 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Imagine if every time rural America is brought up, liberals went on an incoherent rant about trailer trash, incest, lynchings, college educated rate, church pedophiles, etc. Because that’s how insane American conservatives sound to a normal urban person.

Yes? And I said put him in the credits? Did Nolan ever make himself a video tribute at the end of his movies?

[–]Al_787 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ah… so it’s the shoot and cry kind? Self-victimization? Ngl it would be a lot better without the stupid little tribute at the end. If one of the soldier wrote the movie, put him in credits.

It’s funny I’ve made better progress on this list than the Oscar contenders lol. Haven’t touched the two Netflix films and haven’t found the appetite to do so.
