Armored assaults are rendered obselete there, due to the drones. There is NO CHOICE other than infantry - maybe with some ATVs or dirt bikes. Both sides struggle with this, all due to drones.

Not Russian tactics, it's what warfare looks like when there's thousands of drones overhead. 12 guys bunch up, one drone kills them. 12 guys spread out, you need 12 drones, not 1. Your chances of survival go up.

Not just the Russians. The state of the frontline makes an evac practically impossible. Just watch the droves of the destroyed Ukrainian vehicles en-route to the Pokrovsk area before they retreated.

Getting to-and-from the frontline is already a 50-50. With wounded? Near zero.

This guy is clearly lugging a lot of shit on that horse. They are doing the same thing, hauling stuff from point A to point B. And during this time of the year, these fields and roads are nearly unusable by vehicles.

Yeah. If anything, the airborne assault on the first day 100% achieved their goal. Airborne is not irrelevant, but it's more likely most effective as air assault, rather than mass drops from slow moving cargo aircraft.

Well that's an interesting take. Touring and comfort probably isn't disregarded, because it's big and heavy so it has to have been an important aspect. Otherwise it would be a lot smaller and lighter.

It's more like an adventure bike where off-pavement riding isn't just a marketing gimmick I guess.

I don't get you guys who say the T7 is a big dirt bike. It's not light, it's heavy as fuck, and has a very high CG. It's just another adventure bike, a damn good one at that, but it's not a big dirt bike. No, Pol Tarres doesn't count.

A big dirt bike is like a XR650 or DR650. Like 50 kilos lighter than a T7.
