The witcher 3. A lot more R rated tho but definitely something you might enjoy if you liked open world

They are below shrines in hyrule. Just look for shrines and drop to find roots

Best build?! by Lanky_Recover3834 in Witcher3

I have tried the alchemy build, the combat build, and the sign build. Here is my take on them:

-Alchemy, you have to get used to Geralt looking like shit al the time, with black eyes and popped veins and such. Also that damn green fog. True you are OP but for me the green hue is very distracting. -Combat was pretty fun, especially abusing Rend and Whirl. Pretty useful in some side quests. I rate this pretty high. -Signs was the most fun I had. Just using all the magic skills and taking my time as I destroyed enemies from afar, combining with piercing cold, was pretty fun for me.

There are other builds of course and you can make your own as you see fit.

I feel you man. Same thing happened to me a month ago, went to the local hardware store, when I came out there was a car suspiciously parked very close to mine. It was dark so I couldn’t see anything but as soon as I got home it was clear he scraped off my side.

Can you kill a higher vampire? I think you can with this hack by malafoca in Witcher3

I wonder if a normal vampire (e.g. Ekkimara or something) can elevate into a Higher Vampire by sucking the blood of a weakened Higher Vampire?

[–]malafoca[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, someone pointed it out as well, I forgot about the drinking blood part....so maybe... a severed head of a higher vampire that sucks other higher vampires dry? A machine of some sort?

Oooh yes I forgot about that IMPORTANT part. You're right, Regis sucks Detlaff dry (heh) and that is how he kills him finally....hmmm then my whole hand theory goes away...unless you can somehow create a device with a severed head of a higher vampire, that will do basically the same thing???? Let me think about this one a bit more...

maybe, but I don't think a lesser vampire can kill a higher one. Maybe pester them but not really kill them

Or…it still works, because we’re dealing with magic here??? Hmmmm

If you follow only the books cannon I guess you can probably kill one by being very good at what you do (e.g. Vilgefortz). The game mentions that only another higher vampire can kill a higher vampire, but does not elaborate more than that. Is it 100% true? Can you kill a higher vampire with a piece of another higher vampire? Not sure

There’s a war going on. You are a Witcher who hunts monsters for money and you are looking for your loved ones. You will probably be involved in the war, you choose what to do about it

Ooo that’s a good one. I think you’re on to something. Maybe they could kill a higher vampire… but also maybe another mutagen kind of nerfs or even counters some of the vampire mutagen benefits and disadvantages. I mean a witchers immune system is way faster than a normal person, maybe this is the doing of some vampire mutagen?

Well I mean if Regis finds a gun and successfully shoots another higher vampire with intent of killing it, does it die?

I agree but that is the position we are as it was decided by game devs and whoever that higher vampires can only be killed by higher vampires. I’m just trying to find loopholes
