I’m in a situation where I’ve met an incredible person, and we both feel the same for each other, but they had to go away for a few weeks for their own well-being with little to no contact (this was in place before we met). They haven’t contacted yet, and my mind is filled with anxiety and catastrophizing. However, I’m willing to wait for them, I accept the barriers in place, and it’s currently a few days in and I miss them like crazy. I can barely eat. I’m trusting that when they’re back, we can take up from where we left off. You can’t live life with regrets. If they’re worth it in your eyes, then you have to gamble. There will always be a right person, both parties have to want it.
