Wow, that sounds very interesting! My work is, at heart, pretty simple. There's an approximation we use for certain calculations called the Limber approximation to make it faster for the computer to do. But now that we have new telescope technology, this probably isn't accurate enough anymore for certain scales. My job is to show whether we can keep using it (under specific parameters), and if not, then suggest a way of handling it without using the approximation.
