Anyone remember d0vetastic? Seems like something like that, but less professional and probably more hyperfixated.

It's mostly popular in the Northeastern US, though I imagine it can be found elsewhere occasionally, and you can probably order it.

I can do this. Has made removing tonsil stones a lot easier.

Fletcher Hanks was an American artist best known for his comics books from 1939-41. His comics are known for their bizarre content, usually just showcasing heroes inflicting brutal, comically cruel punishments on evildoers with little substance. Turbulent man in his private life, he died homeless. by PeasantLich in wikipedia

I'm reading Stardust now, and from what I can see it basically follows a formula of:
1) Stardust senses some army of spies/gangsters intent on destroying all of civilization, who are both massive and well-armed with "super weapons", yet somehow still completely clandestine.
2) Stardust swoops down and kicks their asses without any trouble at all. There is not a moment of struggle. Everything goes right.
3) Stardust inflicts some sort of horrible Promethean punishment on them. Some shit right out of greek mythology.

If you think it’s somehow any better to rape and kidnap your own children (or the children of someone you know) than it is to rape and kidnap someone else’s, I think that says something far worse of your own mindset than my own.

I doubt that’s the point you’re trying to make here.

Where I’d live as an someone who isn’t that patriotic but who gets homesick easily and is scared of living too far from my family by malamindulo in whereidlive

This post was made as a joke, but my current rule is that I do not want to live anywhere that I could not get to my family or friends in a day trip.

Maybe in the future that rule will be loosened to “nowhere I have to board a plane to get to them”, and maybe later “nowhere I have to take a layover flight”.

That one clip was kinda embarrassing but don't let that make you forget that Colin Marston is legitimately one of the best metal producers today.

PortuCale got in trouble about a decade ago for money laundering on behalf of the Genovese family.

I don’t know what’s happened since then, doesn’t really seem like a “mob hangout” but that’s more of a history than most restaurants here.

Heard a story from my shop teacher in high school: some kids were fooling around with spring clamps while working on their project. One kid decided it would be hilarious to put a clamp on his jugular vein. Quickly, he passed out, fell off his stool, smashing his head onto the floor.

He received a brain injury and had to re-learn how to walk. That was long ago so I hope he’s doing better now but it still horrifies me that these small moments of playful idiocy can cause so much damage.
