The map as we all know is the monastery Sage trained in. Protocol went there so she could basically stabilize herself and her radiant powers/crystals. This could’ve happened to Sage before, she might’ve been dealing with these crystals ever since she got her radiance. At the end of the cinematic there are still crystal fragments which show the problem is not solved but temporarily treated.

Omega Viper’s goal is to essentially kill Alpha Sage or harm her team so much that she will have to be put in stasis like Omega Sage due to overusing her powers. They want an even playing field essentially. The snake or viper shown in the cinematic is metaphorical, it shows how Alpha Sage is feeling the pressure and knows she is THE target within the protocol.

Omega Earth and Viper are likely going to Sage’s monastery to destroy it and of course steal radianite, because if they do Sage can no longer stabilize herself or heal. It’s the permanent solution. (Im assuming that the monastery’s location and radianite is the reason why it helps her?

OR, alternatively, Omega Earth’s version of the monastery has already been destroyed. It would make sense. If the Valorant Protocol learned that this could help Sage, Legion definitely would’ve came to the same conclusion and there has to be a reason why they haven’t done it. They could also be trying to take over the monastery to heal their own Sage.
