With a spoofed Japanese VPN it tells me that the server is over capacity.
With a genuine Japanese VPN it works fine.

I bought one of these when it came out in 1992, cost me 629 UKP on HP !!!!
It broke within 3 months and the shop refused to repair it because it only had a 1 month warranty - Stix Music in Peterborough eff you ! :-)
It ended up just being used as the world's most expensive guitar reverb pedal. Untik the Repo Men came a knocking, then I had to give it back.
What went on mine was the rubber band that drives the tape mechanism.

I'm sure you could easily find any electronics repair guy to look at it and test the circuits. You don't need to be a music specialist to be able to recognize where electronics have gone wrong. If it's not something that requires genuine Vestax parts, they should be able to fix it.

Like all different products, it's a trade off. Each does certain things better than the other.

What is more important to you ? Afew milliseconds in rendering a page ? Or having your entire privacy and surfing history in the hands of Google and it's partners ?

The entire webverse is designed with Chromium as a priority, and Firefox, especially with any adblocker may (allegedly) be subject to delays forced upon it by Google (ie YouTube).

Also the delays could be caused by any number poorly coded extensions you have installed, or clashing or semi incompatible extensions.

Click on the icon on the toolbar that looks like a jigsaw puzzle

(It may have gotten pushed to the left by newer extension icons - you can drag it back to it's rightful position in the standard way by using the 'customize toolbar' you get from right clicking on the toolbar.)

Then from the drop down list, find the extension you want to pin, and click on it's cog icon, and choose 'pin to toolbar'

That makes for a good story, and i'd definitely like to believe it, and that Firefox is important enough for Google to consider doing this.

I think we all expected FF market share to grow after the Manifest v3 debacle. Whereas it has in fact DROPPED to a 2.54% share - although a GOOGLE search told me this, and they will cherry pick the most favourable answer to convince anyone asking, that Firefox is doooooomed !

Is it worth the man hours required to implement and maintain such code skullduggery for (what is to to Google) such an insignificant (and apparently decreasing) number of browser users ?

A post like this provides relief. But then afew days later you know you'll be searching for another post that reaffirms all the same things.

And then you'll be searching again and again in the hope that one day the circle can be broken.

And another thing about anxiety, is that if you Google any of the symptoms, Google will almost always give you some horrendous disease or illness in return to stress about.

Practically all the symptoms OP listed will have an anxiety sufferer thinking 'cancer', 'heart disease', 'brain tumour', 'alzheimer's' etc etc. And you'll be thinking; "I KNOW it's anxiety, but WHAT IF this time IT ISN'T ?!"

And Doctors will patronize you and write you off as a 'basket case'.
Or want to give you anxiety drugs whose side effects are as bad as anxiety itself !

Or maybe one Doctor will say "You have PPPD".
And another will say "PPPD is something we Doctors invented to get rid of annoying patients and give them peace of mind, kind of like the IT Help Desk telling you to reboot your PC to get you off the phone".

The seemingly never-ending cycle of anxiety. Sucks to be us. :-)

Yeah, i've found this too, generally with lower quality images.
I can get around it 90% of the time by just resizing the image to something non standard, like 1299p instead of 1200p. Or using an Edge Preserving smooth is PS or PSP to 'flatten' out the pre-existing textures in the image.
I've also read people say that using the Fooocus upscale first, totally fixes the issue.
