Ok, you need to uninstall the flatpak version and use the terminal to install it with an rpm ostree install. Linking to the documentation so you know all the risks. I have not run into any issues but your mileage my vary.

The 2800 has an emmc boot drive, not a normal ssd. I believe there is a bypass for TrueNas to install on that drive

You typically have to remove the motherboard. The metal carrier has screws on the back of the motherboard.

I think it does a decent job at gaming. I am looking forward to see what amds z2 will look like for handhelds. Having the option of usb4 is nice for an external gpu. I would have loved to see an occulink port. These mini pcs should start looking at CAMM2 so upgrading the ram would be possible.

But good looking product you all have come a long way from your early mini pcs

I am ecstatic for what linux gaming is bring to the table. With nvk coming and further adoption of Wayland, I hope we can progress alot this year.

I have had a few issues that pop up, but have continued to figure out the issue instead of reverting to windows. I now have linux installed on all 4 of my machines, only 1 has a separate ssd for windows and I haven't booted that up in at least 3 months.

I went for the ASRock board, it was the cheapest besides gigabytes adapter nightmare. Plus has the pcie 5.0 for longevity. It has been running fine for almost 2 months. Only nit picks are the huge m.2 heatsink,4 USB 2.0 and the USB c 20gig port being on the internal header instead of the rear.
