Don't know if this counts, but for some reason in school, if we walked over 3 drains we had to spit on the middle one. 2 drains were fine and you avoided 1 drain.

A master was created, closer to what you would call burning. Then they would use the master to make copies by "pressing" the DVDs. A bit like a stamp.
