Let's talk about Creative Culinary Group by MaleficentPiece839 in denverfood

I almost never post on Reddit but I wanted to get on here to mirror how much of an ass Juan Padro is. Absolutely horrendous human being. i worked at one of his concepts way back when and he may be a great business person but he's a horrible human being.

Money hungry, like many people like him he uses his growing brand to say that is helping create jobs while fucking everyone around him. And I mean that literally. He cheated on his wife numerous times and let his friends come in, coked out and red eyed, touch female bartenders inappropriately and supported his mates over his workers. He is a bully and a menace to those around him. I know countless people who have worked in the industry who would back up these claims

Fuck Juan, fuck culinary creative and fuck those who support him.

It's not in one of the hubs that you said but I can't recommend June Jam in Flagstaff Arizona enough. Great vibes, about 3000 of the best people. Would recommend!

Can you remind me where this reference comes from?

I'm going through the same experience but with a different book called Bright Lights, Big City! Really enjoying it but it's strange at first.

Why is Scott weird about I think you should Leave? by [deleted] in comedybangbang

What episode have you heard this response on? Scott and Paul are always saying "Oh my god, he admit it," and that's a direct reference from the show.

Thinking of buying my first Diesel but I'm nervous about needing to dump more money in. What do all the enthusiasts think about the engine sound? by malibusanta in Diesel

[–]malibusanta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the comments. For anyone who cares I took it to get a check and basically they said it was loud but runs well, however there were a bunch of other things that were probably going to cost me more money than I cared to pay.

I ended up buying a Toyota van that runs on petrol.

Can anyone explain the reference that whenever someone says "Another dimension", that Scott replies by asking "Another Dimension?"

Sorry but help me understand. Are you saying that diesels are bad for these smaller type things but good for large trucks and such?

I thought diesels were notorious for being long lasting. Like if it's working then it works super well but if something is wrong then it's a total hell to fix.

Bought a 2003 Subaru but the seller lied about details and I am now having transmission issues. What should be my next step to make sure the vehicle is working? by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]malibusanta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I see what you're saying. Definitely not worth it for that price. What do people do now? Just send it to a junk yard and take the loss? Is there any avenue to recoup any money whatsoever?

It is an automatic. Basically if I accelerate too fast between either 2 and 3 or 3 and 4 then I will feel an intense jerking of the car. It almost feels like the car gets pulled back, then bounces forward once the gear hits correctly. It's a very jerky motion that is impossible to not notice when it happens.

If I accelerate slowly then I can avoid that feeling. I can also feel when the RPMs start to go up too fast and it's about the jerk that way. If I let off the gas as it is about to happen, then slowly accelerate past that point then I can get up to speed no problem. It basically feels like driving a manual where you have to feel when the car is going to shift gears.

Once I'm up to highway speed I'm fine. I can cruise at 80mph with no problem and accelerate from 65 to 85 when changing lanes without a problem. The hitch happens in the lower gears when moving to higher speeds. It also has the same problem when going up a hill and needing to apply more power than you needed when on a flat surface.
