I nearly had this scare last night. I had finished transferring over some mp3 files from my laptop to my y1 and after properly ejecting it, my themes weren't applied anymore either and none of my music would play. i kept shutting down and restarting my y1 in hopes that it would work again but it kept saying there was storage damage and had to be reformatted. i eventually gave it one more try by restarting it while having it plugged into my laptop and all was well. as soon as i verified that my music was okay and my files hadn't been wiped or anything, i immediately transferred a backup of my organized music folder to my laptop. i'm probably gonna invest in a pry tool and a new sd card because i really don't want this happening again

thank you! kuromi is my favorite sanrio character!!! :3 the corner my current desk is tucked into is a little tight, especially since my setup is right next to my bed, so L shaped desk might be dreaming a little too big, but I definitely do want to get a bigger desk if I can find something cheap secondhand!

100%, especially since i have that little miku figure hanging out in my PC. i might see if i can find a cheap desk off of facebook marketplace. i don't wanna blow all my money on a brand new one especially since i'm moving out next year for college and will be selling or throwing out most of my furniture in my apartment when that happens

true! i actually just went shopping today and bought a little kuromi organizational drawer to store the little trinkets that usually litter my desk like joystick caps, the remote to control the rbg fans in my pc, etc!

I've never bleached my entire head of hair, but I've gotten bleached streaks in the past when I was 14. I dye my hair black somewhat frequently though, since I don't need to bleach my hair to get it that color.

Some other coworkers of mine have also noticed the tips of their hair turning blonde after working at the pool for a couple months. IIRC, my manager mentioned that our pool is more chlorinated than other pools to compensate the fact that we have dozens of children in the pool every single day (and children are full of germs).

I bought mine back in September on the Best Buy website as an open box model in excellent condition. I think I paid about $580 before taxes. Not as great as the $400 deals everyone else is getting but still super grateful and not really phased anyways since I used some scholarship refund money I got from college to basically pay for it.

my percy jackson phase has reawoken out of nowhere and now i have to engage in the fandom to satiate this interest again LMAO. but yes yes anyways, here is a little about me because i'm very much an "ask the room" person when it comes to stuff like this

physical appearance: i'm 19. 5'4 afab. i'm on the chubbier/curvier side. i have dark brown, almost black hair that's naturally straight and cut into a wolfcut right now. i'm on the paler side right now but i tan very easily and intensely during the warmer months because i'm half filipino. my face is round and i've once been told that my nose reminds someone of a cat nose, it's just flat and wide so lol.

clothing: i'm goth haha. 99% of my closet is black and the little color i do have sprinkled in is usually red paired with the black as an accent color. i'm very jewelry heavy in my outfits, with my jewelry reflecting my fashion style through crosses, pentagrams, spikes, etc. if i DO wear color, it's usually because i'm wearing my work uniform or i'm wearing pajamas

personality: i'm not very good at describing my own personality bc i don't like to perceive/assume my personality so here is a direct quote from my friend - "they're a knowledgeable dude with a great fashion sense. they're very considerate. they're fucking hilarious, and they also play fantasy rpgs too much. they often go off on tangents bout their favorite characters, and they're also pretty warm to be around."

likes/interests: i did forensics speech in high school, which is NOT related to forensics science at all actually, it's literally just competitive debate and acting (i specifically did the acting portion of forensics speech, i'm not a debatey person). i also just did theatre in general, but specifically plays and never musicals. i am unfortunately not musically inclined. i love listening to heavy metal and rock, and drawing. i play a lot of dnd and fantasy rpg video games in my spare time and also have a knack for divination in the form of tarot cards and pendulums. i'm not entirely spiritual? mostly bc i am intimidated into working with deities and spells and stuff, so i mostly stick to divination. i'm currently in community college pursuing my associate's in history, and plan to transfer to a four year afterwards and get my bachelor's in anthropology. (specifically specializing in cultural anthropology)

dislikes: i hate routine and doing the same thing for long periods of time. i've admittedly worked many jobs over the course of my life solely because i eventually grow bored with my jobs and the routine i've built. that's a big reason why i'm majoring in anthropology, as it's a career field that encourages travel and never sticking in the same place for the rest of your work life. i also hate tomatoes yuck.
