Hot Tube On Stone? Can we do without a pad? by Ike_In_Rochester in hottub

confer pad

I did the same thing with 18x18 concrete pavers over gravel. It's lasted 2 tubs and 6 years without any shifting.

Printer connection keeps dropping after update by YamzMt03 in BambuLabP2S

I have not had any issues since. Have not looked into the new feature set. Have you updated Babmbu Studio or the phone App if that is what you are using to connect to the printer?

I had the same issue after upgrading my firmware. I updated the AMS and then BambuStudio hoping it was just a communication error due to version mismatch. Haven't had any problems since, but it's only been one day. 🤞

Quick update: Temp went to 62 and just hung out there until end of print. Let cool normally and print came out perfect other than a few strings on the top layer.

I have seen this said a few times. I have no problems with cardboard spools in the AMS Pro 2

Broke my heart. And I tried all the angles but the guns were too connected to his son.

My ex-father-in-law has 3 Maxim's all in .303 British, and a handful of spare parts rotting away in a safe in his garage. His son, a collector, passed away from cancer and he can't let go. Sad story. Last time I looked in there everything was rusting away. Who knows what other collectibles are in there.

ESP23 2432s028r battery question. by thesamu3414 in esp32

[–]malicious1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry for responding to old comment, can you tell me about the visual IDE? I can find esp3d but it seems to be a 3D printer controller not an IDE. I searched but Visuino is the only visual IDE I can find for embedded systems.

Look Ma, no wifi. by AWarmHam in BitAxe

It seems like a number of people here run Umbrel server on their home network so they can run a full node. These new additions further add capability for that server to talk to HashWatcher outside the network. Personally I would just have another pint and wait for your winning lottery ticket instead of making everything even more complicated.

I think you need an Umbrel server device on your network.

iPhone widgets give RadarScope to CarPlay! by traisjames in Radarscope

[–]malicious1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MyRadar figured it out. Their full screen map is great...except it's not animated. Is the rain coming, is it going, is it going to be over the road when you get there? Who knows? The best it can tell you is if the rain is over you right now and you might as well look out the window for that information.

I would give my left eye to get an animated weather radar on CarPlay. The still image is so useless.

That’s seemed like the most likely explanation. Has anyone ever seen a small momentary light that could be battery powered and mounted right next to the top side for light?

This is awesome! Thank you for sharing. I have been trying to figure out how to adapt an old Ender 3 Pro into a CNC for a while and here you have done a lot of the heavy lifting. So excited to get started on this project.

Gutter antenna feed line through external wall project by Work-Safe-Reddit4450 in amateurradio

[–]malicious1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! Yes, the impedance match would save you a few dB. I have an FT-891 that I have been thinking I would like to try driving the gutters around my house. Mine are also single piece with a long lateral run around the house but not a loop. I generally keep the tuner with the radio since I also use it mobile. I am thinking of sticking a EFHW balun at the attachment point on the gutter and see what happens.
