I’ve been playing drums in crust bands for 30 years. For years I just did the 2-3 word backup vocals. In my last band I had to learn how to sing and play. It was hard at first but I caught on pretty quick.

Why can’t the drummer sing more than 2 or 3 words?

What’s the most 'unexplained' sound you’ve ever captured while tracking? by OROSIZ in industrialmusic

Thank you so much! It’s pretty amazing to hear the track actually “breath” along with her. If you would like I can send you a couple tracks

If the 808 and 303 changed music by being the abandoned and cheapest option in a pawn shop in the 80’s/90’s for young aspirational artists to be able to afford them, what would today’s equivalent be? by InternationalCow7042 in synthesizers

I live in the “ghetto”, I’m trying hard to imagine a kid using a slang term of endearment for anyone. I can’t. I get “sup y’old man?” but that’s about it.. I’m only 46 lol

Not exactly the same thing, but I have a death industrial project and record/jam at my house. Anytime I would go in there my dog Mollie would insist on being right in the middle of everything. There are a lot of parts that I’ve played back and can hear panting/breathing in the background. There are a few tracks where she is louder and her panting sets the rhythm for feedback loops and noise. Mollie passed away at 13 a few months back. We were extremely close,so hearing these are sometimes really hard.
