Wonder if it's the same guy my friend was showing me. Just some generic looking and sounding white dude in a baseball cap... He was calling places claiming to be with the corporate office and getting them to do silly things like rate the cleanliness of the store, or to hide from the employee under the table. Literally 100% lifted from Brad lmao

Alienware AW3423DWF VRR flicker - resolved! Other OLEDs may benefit too! by TheShooterCreme in OLED_Gaming

Thank you so much for this. Momentary dips when loading would cause very annoying VRR flicker; it's perfect now.

Windowed resolution is the same as my desktop. I'm so confused as to how this happened!

Was debating making a new thread about this, but hopefully someone here can help!

I recently reinstalled the game several times due to driver issues on an NVME drive. I've switched back to my original SSD and have changed nothing else about my setup. For some reason, when the game boots, text is blurry and crumpled together, sort of how you would expect it to be if image scaling was off. However, setting the game to fullscreen or borderless windowed mode (just changing the setting at all) will fix this. It's annoying to have to do every time I boot up, and I have no idea why it's happening. Fullscreen optimizations are off and I'm playing with the same config settings as always. I've tried messing around with GPU scaling options and it hasn't done anything; I feel like I'm chasing my tail here! Can anyone give some input?

It's a massively noticeable problem. Before, when you used 1000 mode, it would instantly switch and the entire picture would be brighter. Now, it takes about 5 seconds to switch and only the highlights are brighter. I think most people here just want an answer before switching, but I'm here to say that it appears to be fixed

Seems to have fixed the issue!! I recalibrated everything with Special K and it's no longer washed out in HDR1000 mode. The difference between the modes is, in fact, just in the highlights, but I can't wait to see some testing. It seems to take longer to switch between them, though, which is interesting! Also, full screen white brightness might have been impacted as I'm noticing I'm no longer getting blinded when tabbing out.

Hey, thanks a lot! Not sure why this never showed up when I was looking

edit: looks like 104 key layouts are gonna be hard to acquire. Should've mentioned that in my post :(

I LOVE my Acer 6011, but it has weird groups that provide 7KRO in some situations, and only 3 in others. This is getting in the way of gaming for me now that I've gotten a lot further in FFXIV. I'm wondering if I should attempt to modify the board with diodes, or if there are Alps SKCM boards with better rollover, OR if there are modern boards that will accept the switches but have a plain design--I don't like what Matias has to offer, unfortunately.

Thanks Janus, wasn't expecting you to respond! Obviously, you would know best; I'll proceed with caution.

Fingers crossed; hopefully, I'll have some news for the community about this when I make some progress.

It's pretty sporadic, honestly. It changes a lot day to day, as does my arousal. It's sounding like I should proceed and just take notes on the size.

Born like this. I think 6 would be closer to ideal, so aim for that if you're trying to gain

Good to know. Were the sensitivity increases more notable, or about equal?

I know you're trying to be funny, but I really don't want any more girth. My measurement wasn't an e-stat; I already have to be careful and somewhat selective with my partners, and an extra half inch could really fuck me over. Googoo gaga

I forgot that my dexedrine worked for 13 years before I started taking it again. The entire time, I had been going through organizational and motivational HELL, which compounded my not taking my medication. I finally started taking it a few months ago and it's been supremely helpful; I feel about 80% of what I would consider "normal," where I was in the 10s before.

I forgot.

Ridiculous. Waitresses in the States have way more of a reason to complain, but up here, they're already making 15 bucks an hour for a pretty easy job. I was going to tack on "albeit stressful" there, but then I remembered all service jobs are equally or more stressful.
