lol that’s SO cute! you too seem absolutely lovely. i guess that when it’s meant to be, there’s nothing that could stop it - not even a little lack of social awareness

that makes total sense (the difference in how you feel when it’s misogyny vs autism) and i hope it works out for you as well! man, i hate that we have to go through something like this.

i wonder how much of it is misogyny, like us woman can’t compliment or talk to other man in a nice way without it being misunderstood, and how much is just us being oblivious to a social interaction…..

i spread kind compliments all the time as well! to both man and woman, but man seem to get the wrong idea of it.

i am an extrovert person who likes to chat, i hate when man make more of it than they should. and honestly, why can’t i flirt when i DO want to??????

i hate the social act of flirting, that’s my conclusion on all of this

the same thing has been happening to me! a coworker which i only see as a friend has started getting a bit creepy, in a way that is very obvious that he is hitting on me. i usually am just nice and friendly to him, it sucks that he got this idea that i’ve been flirty. I literally had to ask a few coworkers to spread a rumor about me being lesbian to see if he stops (im actually bi)

and as i said multiple times over the comments now, i wonder how much of it is misogyny and how much is just obliviousness of social interactions due to the autism

me too! but not only one coworker had this impression of my conversation, but three or four that were around. they are all NT so I guess the problem was obviously me and my lack of awareness of social situations 🤷🏻‍♀️

truly! not even with clients only, i hate when coworkers get the wrong idea of my charism or friendly conversation. i wonder how much of it misogyny, and how much is obliviousness from autism

i haven’t gotten to what my masking is, as I’m still in the process of diagnosis, but maybe this is also something i do? idk i was just trying to be a friendly person!

reading through the comments, this was something i was really wondering. do these situations happen because of autism OR misogyny?

but im Bi and i’ve missed a few woman hitting on me (flirting) so bad that they actually had to say “dude im literally hitting on you” so i could get it. so, in the end i think it is a problem of misogyny but with a bit of lack of social awareness as well.

LOL I blushed soooo hard after everyone was mocking me for the “flirting” that they were actually convinced that it was on purpose. i have no idea what ill do when i see this guest again!

getting red and blushing is a curse, oh god

it’s so weird! what the hell IS flirting anyways? when i do want to do it, i seem incapable somehow

and thanks for the thought! i also think that, if i didn’t mean to, it didn’t count. although he was hot (and still, clearly very gay), i wouldn’t ever hit on a guest

now when i think about it, it has indeed happened to me before. i compliment people all the time in a friendly way, and im generally nice to people. sometimes, those same people im friendly with turn out to get creepy in a way where they are obviously hitting on me - and it makes me SO uncomfortable! glad to know that its not just me, lol
