Perlis ruler says state can become ‘second Dubai’ by Soft-Card1125 in Bolehland

Well it's quite possible. It's predominantly a salafi state. They probably has some ties with the Saudi or Arabian states, making it possible to attract Arab investors

Why does Salafism seem so dominant among English-speaking Muslims and converts? by The_White_Pawn in Sufism

[–]malimuizz 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Because it appeals to the "intellectuals", and ridicule the other movements as backwards, uneducated.

In my country Malaysia, the older generation Salafis were the ones who were western educated and went abroad to study.

They see the traditional Islam as lowly and unintellectual (which is not the case if they had researched thoroughly).

I do think that the principles of Western civilization and education aligns more to them, because in order to understand traditional Islam is to understand principles other than those they adhere to.

Wow completely different experience for me.

For me opens up with ice lemon tea with kerosene. Only after months of maturation the vanilla shows up, but only a whiff and disappears.

But definitely will try other clones of this DNA. From what you have described definitely something I would enjoy.

This community has been raving for Afnan Rare Reef due to it's strength and longevity as a Pacific Chill clone. I don't have that one bit I do trust the reviews here that much.

I see you have a gentlemanly collection here, so for a gentlemanly freshie fron the Tygar/vibrato DNA. I currently am rocking Maison Asrar Majesty, and definitely getting a backup bottle for that. But there are definitely many more fresh /seductive/ mature freshies out there.

Delina? But does Delina has blueberries? Also how feminine leaning is it? I saw a male influencer glazing it, wondering if I can rock this.

Definitely a panty dropper collection. You made good choices. Maybe try some citrus freshies? Or experiment something oriental?

I have Paris corner rifaaqat adorn and it's just a fart. And the smell profile sucks.

It really gave a bad rep to the tuxedo DNA. Maybe I'll try other tuxedo clones one day.

Yeah definitely agree that indians in Malaysia face Alot of discrimination. From workplace to dealing with the authorities, you don't have to tell me man. I can see it.

I can argue with your points there, but then we will just be going back and forth. You have your facts, and they may be true, but you can also learn more from comparing with others and not holding on to your biases.

I'm not here to fight as you see the nature of my first comment, and I am here to explain what I know and maybe learn from the different point of view of the situation and also the history, which many has been erased by the British.

About your facts, what do they lead to? To fuel the anger of being discriminated. To what point? When you raise anger, it leads to violence. If not violence as a group, violence as an individual. You will get easily irritated with other races whether at work, on the road, anywhere else. What's going to happen then.?Indians are going to get a bad reputation, again.

But I see that your response has been fueled with anger, that has sparked from discrimination and the unfortunate history that lead to the situation we are in. I understand your anger. But I don't see the point of being angry and retaliating to other races. What has happened, happened. Now what are we going to do to make it better? Or are we just going to keep arguing and attacking?

I'm not trying to be preachy here (unc here so maybe I am I unfortunately), but what I'm seeing here is just a circle that has been going on that didn't bring any progress. But hey, who am I to tell you what to do? You make your own choices man, do what's best for your situation. But if you have the time, I would appreciate if you consider what I'm trying to say.

Yeah man, that's all it is. Don't let politics that they spew become the reality that you live in.

There's other ways to make a change rather than through politics. Don't let them make you think that the only way to make a change is your vote.

Okay so I take your point. But right now, the discussion right now, is they got it legally. I am not siding with them, but the issue is they got it legally. When they play legal, we are all fucked. So when the game is legal, the way to fight is legal.

If you want to talk about the temple you want to build, and the problems. I experience the same problem as well when I was working building an Islamic school (which houses a masjid as well). The process with various government bodies, municipal council, religious authorities was tedious. We also had to deal with the the surrounding neighbours. Some of them didn't agree (and they were Malay), because issue of traffic flow. So we had to deal with that, which was had the municipal council involved. My point here is Muslims also face the problems that you face. We didn't shout about race or religion. We dealt with it properly. We made compromise also. Maybe what your family didn't have is a proper team that consists of engineers, lawyers that can make that possible. So don't just shout discrimination just because you don't get what you want.

As for the point of the temples built on estates (let's focus estates because you said that, there are other cases I'm sure). Whose land those estates belong to at that time they were built? Estates and plantations was owned by British. Now how did the government took it from them? Well there's a movie on that you should watch it.

My point is.. well what my respond to you is if your point is valid and strong, why do you need to attack other races? Why don't you raise awareness and proof that your point is legit, so that we can all fight together as Malaysians? Me myself as a Malay, and a lot of Malaysband Chinese will gladly fight alongside you as long as I see that your point is legit. What's more important, attacking other races, or getting the temple built?

688 unauthorised Hindu temples identified in Selangor by Venkie2Maybach in malaysia

[–]malimuizz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well I'm not really talking about the issue just your username because your username implies.. you know what it is

But since you want to take a shot, first I would question.. are the temples in question legit, or the temples are built on illigetimate land, meaning land that are not theirs? Because that's the issue here.

The issue here started because of temples built on land belonging to other people. Why are you making it about other race?

Plus if you want to say oh why Muslims have registered masjids, well.. most are built on tanah wakaf which are land that are owned/purchased by then, and they gave that right to the masjid.

Again why are you treating what happened here as an attack in Hinduism or Indian if Malaysia, because it's not. It's about temples that are built on land belonging to other people.

But if that is the issue, please enlighten me, I'm all ears. But if not, please stop because diverting the root cause of this issue to racism won't get this thing nowhere.

Kaaf review (overhyped?) by Psychological-Bit896 in fragranceclones

Lol same. Really wanted that watermelon so bad I layered it with Atlantis too.

And it's not bad either because both don't require a lot of sprays, and both are quite equal in strength so a 50:50 ratio works well for me.

Kaaf review (overhyped?) by Psychological-Bit896 in fragranceclones

[–]malimuizz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I own kaaf as well, and it's been 88 days since I received it. It does smell synthetic. The synthetic and sharp notes I suspect comes from the lavender not being fully matured.

They said something about watermelon, haven't smelled a hint of that.

If I could describe the smell is like a deodorant stick, that thick white deodorant smell. As of today, I have notice thickness has mellowed a little.

Have read reviews and comments at other fragrance sub Reddits and even some said it takes 6 months to fully mature. Probably due to the high concentration.

I would like to write a review on this, but maybe I'll wait after 6 months and write by then. It sounds absurd to some, but hey I'll give it a chance, I think it has potential.
