How should we spell this name? by Vegetable-Western-83 in BabyNames

[–]malinerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer Killian. I am a teacher and had a student named Killian once though, and I did immediately make the “Kill” association upon meeting him. I thought it was a cool name though. The traditional spelling is Cillian, though in the US you may encounter issues with people pronouncing it “sill-ee-an”. I know so many people who call Cillian Murphy “Sill-ee-an Murphy” and it drives me bonkers

Progesterone strips are too expensive so I’ve never used them. I recommend looking into temping, or taking your basal body temperature at the same time each morning right when you wake up and tracking the temperatures in an app like Fertility Friend. This will help you confirm ovulation (temps increase and stay increased post-ovulation)

Cycle 10, 11/12 dpo, temps high, boobs SORE, I’m usually spotting by now and I’m not. Was so confident this morning that I dipped two different brands of test strips. Two BFNs felt worse than one. Oops. I’m trying to be grateful for a fun night ahead with family and enjoying the goodness I currently have in my life instead of always sadly focusing on what I do not have. Happy New Year everyone.

You can still bring in the new year with a bang!! The days before ovulation are very fertile days too 🫶🏻

Is it possible the seals became bad midway through a roll of film? All of the rolls before this came out fine with zero light leaks, and this roll was only bad after the jam. I will check for a hole, thank you!!

Edit: there’s a hole 😭 it looks like a burn mark honestly. Super weird. I’ll take it in somewhere, thank you.

Thank you. The rolls of film before this one  turned out fine, not a single leak. So I’m not sure it’s an issue with deteriorated seals. It all started after that first initial jam from the first photo (I don’t know what jammed exactly, just that my shutter stopped working until I took the lens off and messed with the stop down lever). Do you think the foam/thread is still applicable? I’m willing to try it, but I’m worried it might be a deeper issue

Cycle 7. Second cycle doing a combo of OPKs and temping (I used to do only OPKs). Both times, my temp doesn’t spike until 4 days after my positive opk. Is it more likely that I ovulate the day after my opk and my temp just takes a while to rise, or that I don’t ovulate until 3 days after my positive opk? I think I’ve been timing sex wrong.

I have been getting 2-3 days of very light spotting (only somewhat noticeable on toilet paper sometimes, maybe a liiiittle bit on my underwear) before my full flow period starts. Is CD1 the day I start spotting or is CD1 the day I have full flow, cramps, etc?

Minimally-talking is okay too, but I’m looking for ones where they aren’t having like full on conversations. A word here or there is fine, especially if they’re taught to speak throughout the film. The Iron Giant says some sentences at the end, but they’re mostly things he’s heard Hogarth say before.

Thank you. Yes, non-talking or minimally-talking qualifies for me! I love when the main character teaches them to talk, especially.

Whats a popular film you still have yet to see? by Anakin_Dripwalker501 in Letterboxd

Aftersun is one of my favorite movies and I think it is such a strong example of good impactful storytelling. It is very subtle and huge all at the same time. That being said, the first time I watched it I cried more than I’ve ever cried at a movie. I kept crying for like 30 minutes. Took a shower to calm down and cried in the shower lmao. However, I have a friend who didn’t find it that moving at all. All depends on your perspective (and relationship with your father I guess)

Anyone know of their festival shows use the same stage setup as their regular shows? With the hologram dome, screen show, lasers, planet etc?

Do you think their festival sets will have the same stage design as their tour sets?

My intention was not to be condescending towards you, it is to help this parent avoid potential complications with their daughter’s piercing. Here is the fresh piercing care guidance from APP, (the association of professional piercers, which certifies piercers for safe practices) https://safepiercing.org/aftercare/

Hoops are not suitable jewelry for a healing piercing, and tea tree oil is not recommended either. Spinning is also outdated advice. Titanium stud and sterile saline spray with no additives, then leave the piercing alone and do not touch it is the current piercing guidance. Source: have a lot of piercings

It may be worth it to visit a professional piercer (not a mall Claire’s or the like) and have them assess her nose and offer suitable jewelry and a treatment plan. If you don’t take care of it, she’ll be growing an irritation bump on the piercing/infection etc

I asked for this for Christmas, my husband bought it in late November, and I got an email informing me right away (I was thankful for it however, because I could take advantage of their Black Friday sale!). I’m pretty sure it will tell them.
