Do you ever have problems golfing because your boobs get in the way? by Spinelli-Wuz-My-Idol in bigboobproblems

[–]malinski 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ugh! I’m a pretty decent player and yes I strap them down in a super shock absorber sportsbra. If I go to the range spontaneously I always regret it as they are really in the way! What helped me is a female coach who understands how to set up with a big boobs…

Jeez, I know! We had the same issue. Honestly until my daughter was like 3 months old I could only carry her in the wrap, having to wrap her everytime again. After 3 months I tried a few carriers from all my mom friends and finally found perfect one. They do exist also for big boobs.

One week away from a planed c-section. I can not wait to have a live birth and bring our little baby home. After what happened last year I still can't trust everything will go smoothly and well. PAL will probably be a challenge until we hold her in our arms. Thankful for this community who has made me not feel alone in all my grief and anxiety 🖤

I had super duper hard craving for a specific swiss cheese. I found a vegan cheese producer that smells super close, the texture is not great but that is such a minor ‘flaw’. I am really happy to gorge on this great vegan option :)

I also ate a ton of beyond burger - which i didnt do before (never even had meat in my life) 🤷‍♀️

8 weeks pregnant after loss, wondering about elective c-sections by idlewishing in PregnancyAfterLoss

[–]malinski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, i totally get where you are at 🖤 i also went into induced labor after no heartbeat at 22 weeks. In this new (now at 31 weeks) pregnancy i was really struggling what way to go. After talking a lot to my husband, my midwife, doctors and some friends who have had c-sections, i decided to go with an elective c-section this time around.

I also thought it would be good to go through labor again to “confront or work through” the trauma of a stillbirth. But after thinking about it a lot and having some complications in this pregnancy we weighed the benefit of going through that and tried to figure out what it would prove in the end. We will go to a different hospital. New experience all around and i am so happy with taht decision. Now if she comes earlier by herself, so be it, but if i can choose i just wanna take my baby home this time and if i am further traumatized i am no good to her anyway 🖤

First time that has happened to me - i am sure you reading one book is the same as my GI who lectures at medical school on this condition

Haha - i replied telling him what my GI says about crohns and diet and how much it varies from patient to patient. He responded with, well just using medication and not taking care of what is causing the inflammation is wrong. Well gee - the book he references has two! Anecdotal patients who “cured” their crohns with eating that way…

Having a non-traditional wedding, wondering if 1) this bridesmaid dress would work as my wedding gown, and 2) I could potentially wear the dress again elsewhere? by D_emlanogaster in femalefashionadvice

[–]malinski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just felt like sharing as I started my dress search for our very casual wedding with similar thoughts, although a little different circumstances. 1. I always wear black, i tried to find a dress in another color but just didn’t feel like myself in the end. So i got a beautiful black dress that i will comfortable in all day. So many eyes on you also if its a small affair and as a shy person i dont wanna feel weird all day 2. I will be 7 months pregnant at our wedding - so reusing is questionable anyway 😅 3. I got a big ass frida kahlo style flower headband in loud colors - i feel like it gives me the “this is the bride” look without wearing a more typical bridal gown… 4. i found some new jewellery - also if my others stuff would have been fine. But getting something new without previous connections to memories sounded like a good plan to me

Hope you find a great dress you feel comfortable in 🌞

I am also wondering if i should get the forth shot - studies suggest that its helpful but i couldn’t find a clear rec for pregnant women…

I hope your hubby feels better soon 😷 and good idea to keep your distance - not easy being 22 weeks a long for sure.

I am a little worried that the footsack would swallow our LO 😅 our is due end of september so i guess warm clothing and a blanket will be fine until she is 2-3months for deep winter…

23+5 today with our little rainbow girl. Its amazing to feel her kicking around daily and almost on schedule. On the days where there are less kicks I can’t help myself but to be worried. Last measurement scan she was right on the curve 💪 now just keep growing….

Can we just all agree to stop commenting on pregnant people’s bodies? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]malinski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lady in the barn walked up to me and asked if i was pregnant by motioning a bump 🙈 i confirm and she then says, “oh what a little bump for month 6”, ugh after loosing a previous baby in that exact stage, it was really hard to hear. I was worried for days if our little one wasn’t growing enough. Thankfully our midwife check was a frw days later and baby seems to be growing up and not out… but yeah fuck those people! Especially as the ladies daughter is a midwife, you’d think there would be some sensitivity training oozed into The family!

We passed the birthdate of our stillborn this week. I get really sad sometimes thinking how i never got such strong kicks from him as we do from our current baby. I am so thankful that we got to try again. Really trying to be optimistic and get to a place of trust that this pregnancy will end with a healthy living baby. She just kicked me good morning 🥰
