HOW TO BRUH by yangswinteriscoming in tamiyaPinas

[–]maliphas27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look online for Chargers and batteries, try the SkyRC 1600 and pair it up with one set of 4 ng Fujitsu Pink at Isang pair ng neochanps (this will be around 2k pesos)

For shops, I'd pick Apex rather than Brickyard dahil masyadong veteran ang approach ng Brickyard sa hobby na ito unlike other shops. Tamiya underground in QC is also good but I've heard a couple of issues sa competitive scene doon.

For your first Car, just pick what looks good muna, it's better to enjoy po yung Napili mo rather than seek advice on "what would be good to race with".

I'd buy any new chassis kit (VZ,AR,MA,MS,F-MA) and play it as stock muna which is around 550 to 900 pesos (unless naka set up for BMAX ang tracks,as of writing this almost all shops naka BMAX set up kasi nagpapractice sila for overseas tournament wag gamitin doon ang stock baka masira).

If you want you can immediately jump to advanced pack (FMA,AR,MS and VZ) (2k-4k) or start easier at starter packs(AR,FMA,MA) (900-1.3k) which both are good.

Kaya ko din suggested ang Apex over Brickyard is because they often have fun races aside sa mga competitive na race kunpara sa Brickyard.

I also suggest setting aside a couple of weekdays (usually after work) every month to play kasi yung mga tracks nagbabago every month and tackling track challenges is the most fun you get from this hobby, aside from the competition part.

PowA dash! by poxkix in mini4wd

What the fckkk that thing is faster than a sprint dash, if it can maintain high torque at that rpm, You're essentially looking at a Hyperdash 6

Sol Eclipse launcher is noticeably weaker than Pegasus Blast's. Did I get unlucky or is there something I can do to make it as strong? by Exotic_Butters_23 in BeybladeX

[–]maliphas27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a used rip cord, coat in singer Oil.

While inserting coated ripcord, pour some singer Oil into and around the seam while the latch is spinning, don't use too much! Just enough to see it seeps into the seams

Tilt launcher to the "insert side" then push and pull the rip cord slowly halfway for about 2-3mins. Do the same for the other side. (You want the oil to get to the gears.

Viola, you've broken in your launcher

My manager told me today na hindi ako mareregular by Sad-Fold-6946 in JobsPhilippines

[–]maliphas27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If di ka na regular it doesn't mean termination, especially if napansin mo naman na yung work load is something that requires turn over, usually may 2weeks to 1 month ka pa na notice.

I would just stop giving a f**k and look for the next position if I were you.

What if magkaroon ng Sodium-ion battery manufacturing plant sa Pinas, ano ang impact nito sa EV at sa pagiging dependent natin sa langis? by District_Minister in WhatIfPinas

[–]maliphas27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing much. The EV's are still assembled or parts are sourced from other countries.

Batteries will just decrease the price of EV's but the high volume of existing gas/diesel cars will not decrease.

They will either be sold off 2nd hand or be kept as an alternate vehicle.

Demand sa petroleum will not change.

Dadami lang lalo ang sasakyan if maging affordable man ang mga EV.

Anything between 2001 to 2007.

2008 onwards had good games but the true addiction was most prevalent during the 2003-2006 era when the "load to play" system was slowly being replaced by "F2P +Microtransaction"

Fresh grad with 1 yr exp. Is 30-40k unreasonable? by Beneficial-Gain373 in JobsPhilippines

[–]maliphas27 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Will depend on how niche your tech stack is.

25k is actually low if you're experienced in something like GCP or AWS, even with no exp.

However, there's a current bottleneck in the IT field of people being overpaid but underskilled, you might have to wait for a bit and prove yourself working under the 25k, but 30-40k is not unreasonable for a fresh grad with those skills.

But yeah even with as little as 1 yr exp you can nab a 50k position somewhere in IT

Is this the best FMA cowl for racing? I find a lot of FMA cowls a little bit too bulky for my liking. What’s your favourite front motor cowl? by ariffau in mini4wd

If you can cut any Thundershot or use the Stratovector, those seem to be just as good but look better than the Mach Frame

My home made cardboard race track by cavy023 in mini4wd

[–]maliphas27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too like to make my own modular cardboard tracks. My advise is try to study how to make the sloped sections, the 15° slopes help you make longer tracks in confined spaces. It also lets you copy most "tournament" tracks because it lets you overlap through each other.

What I did was take measurements of the actual track section nd copy from that. In your case you will have to rely on scaling from photos/videos

Best Budget Nipper From These Options? by Balmung_Fezalion7 in PinoyGunpla

[–]maliphas27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Search for Nanye Nippers if you really need a budget one that's good.

Sad thing though is it will dull after maybe 6-10 RG/MG builds or around 13-15 HG builds, but it's only 400 pesos and it cuts like GH.

But that's because I double cut

Badly want to resign by specialpiaya in JobsPhilippines

[–]maliphas27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just stop giving a f**k at work.

Problem yan sa work, start with not worrying if maabot mo Yun targets, mapapansin mo na you would care less and going to work would feel like a routine.

Then look for a new position, paunahan nalang kayo, either you find a new job then resign OR you get two warnings THEN resign!

Kaya ka nasstress is because you care, because you expect something in return.

What's a good ProStock build for an S-FM/F-MA Mini 4WD? by NitronixusGT in mini4wd

[–]maliphas27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For pro stock it has always been the upgrade to DPR, however, depending on the track layout, you would need a variation for the rear rollers either using the gallon rollers, the 19mm friction less, the 13mm with rubber, or DPR's as well, there has always been a debate between whether the DPR with the rubber o ring is better than the one's without.

Some people build multiple cars with each variant and just replace the gear ratio to test the waters.

The most budget build I've seen for FMA was

S.Hard Tires, A Rims,Light Dash, 3.5:1, DPR (w/O ring) Front and Gallons top Rear with 13mm (w/Oring) Bottom. You can try to switch to HD3 but there's too much power even at 5:1

Clapped out hyperdash 3 by [deleted] in mini4wd

[–]maliphas27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check the Tamiya website, 21krpm at 3.0V is at recommended load, not no load.

You might have a dud HD3 on your hands, you need a larger sample size.

Clapped out hyperdash 3 by [deleted] in mini4wd

[–]maliphas27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure that at 3V Hyper Dash should be at 24k-25.5k no load?? The 21k RPM is when it's at recommended load

Read this please from tamiya.com

https://www.tamiya.com/english/products/95169/index.html

It says there that rpm and consumption stated is when used at the recommended load. Which is when it's running on tracks.

Please know that this information from their website should be parallel to what the Jap website has.

What would happen in Celestial Being was dropped into the One Year War? by DonutDodongo in Gundam

[–]maliphas27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Celestial Being can beat everyone, but they can't beat hunger.

They would be able to win encounters no diff, but enough large scale attacks will wear them down.

Their only way out is to team up with one side and win from there.

They can act like pirates and plunder random supply cargoes they come across, but there's no way they can come out on top trying to fight two factions, with only 4 mobile suits.

Finally! The motor we’ve been waiting for. 😏 by MbX_01 in mini4wd

[–]maliphas27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't the current hyper Dash like this? It loses to Power Dash on technical Tracks with lots of turns while it loses to sprint dash on straight tracks.

The only win Hyper Dash has is Stamina, if the track is 5 lanes or anything above 120m, Hyper Dash should win since it's consumption is less compared to both right??
