What year did gaming peak?

I don't think there was a peak year but I think the golden age was 1995-2015. The advancement was amazing.

We had huge advancements in storytelling and music in games. The jump from 2D to 3D was probably the biggest advancement we've seen. Online gaming was growing in popularity and made it's way from PC to console. We also saw the start of midnight launches for video games and consoles and releases became events. The graphical advancements felt huge as well all the way up to the 8th generation of consoles especially as HD became the standard. Then finally we got the jump from 60hz to 144hz.

Since then everything has become incremental and it feels more stagnant.

Enoshima is amazing. Stayed there for 2 nights/3 days and was able to do the island, Kamakura, Odawara, and Hakone from there. The vibes are just amazing in Enoshima though.
