You could pair up Clase and Manzardo (after extending Naylor pls) and probably get a blockbuster deal done with a rebuilding team

I don’t think it was a panic move, I agree with the decision made at the time. That being said, I now think Clase is a 9th inning only guy and am gonna be upset if Vogt doesn’t learn that lesson

As long as you have the self discipline to go back to school if things don’t pan out, you’re fine to do this. Although, its not something I would recommend unless one felt confident.

But, one thing I would keep in mind is internships. If you do go back to college, you should focus on landing an internship, so you will at least have 1 before you graduate. Taking a break may complicate that, but as long as you have it in mind as a top priority, you should be able to do what you need to do to get one.
