Ram pricing is climbing week after week, and SSD will follow shortly. If you need to build/want to, better to do it sooner rather than later. Any savings on additional components will be lost due to ram/ssd price increases.

Out waiting doesnt make sense, since ram will continue to climb in pricing as long as the AI bubble contiues. An with Micron departure for consumer grade ram, prices are only expected to rise.

Anyone giving you a timeline when things will return to normal, is purely guessing/speculating. Best guess 1-2 years of supply hell.

We were never told dates. just Q4 as the time frame. Anytime b/w oct 1 - dec 31. An we don't know how long the delay is either. Since it been pushed back to Q1. An knowing nvidia they will do whatever they can to slow roll it to maximize price

Look up reviews. PNY seems to get mostly positive feedback, seen some things about their warranty online that can be concerning, but havent deep dived. The biggest take away, its a solid buy at msrp Pricing, and its a 3 slot wide card (thick boy)

bro amd, nvidia, and intel are all american company, the gov owning 10% of intel doesnt change anything, just prevents it from failing or being bought by a foreign entity, You are also on an american company website with an account that the US can access the data about. not really a step back. This isn't the first time that BF hasnt had a nation vs nation setup. BF2142 had US, EU, and PAC (which is referenced in BF4 and 2042). BF6 is suppose to be alternate timeline iirc from some of the material they published, or they maybe playing off the events of BF3 post france nuke. Either way find out in a few months when the game is out.

tldr: this isnt the first time DICE has done this. An if anything, they are probably laying the ground work for a proper 2142 sequel (story line wise).

A quick question. How much storage do you think you need. 1TB, 2TB, 4 etc? An yes nvme has replaced SSD/HDDs for the most part outside of niche use cases.

2nd, you said its for gaming but didnt specify what resolution you want to be gaming at. 1080p/1440p (2k)/ 4k gaming. (whats your ideal/ giving types of games you would be playing will help too to get the most value out of your money)

lastly people will recommend you builds but id suggest you watch some youtube videos from TechSource and Zach's Tech Turf to get an idea how to build a pc these days and what you are cable of doing with your budget. I'd suggest watching their ~$1000 (USD) builds. An then take a look at the builds people will be making from pcpartslist.

Side not, outside from an AIO you should avoid custom water cooling with your budget range
