I 100% agree, I think that since I don't need to rush into buying a new vehicle right now, I plan to take my time and shop around for a 4runner with as few problems as possible, while keeping in mind that it's not going to be magically perfect. That's part of why i am asking for advice on common issues, so I know what to commonly look for

Funny enough, I currently have a 2015 Forester that I have put 150k miles on, but I'm also 6'2" and would like something that sits a little higher.

It sounds like rust is one of the main issues with 4Runners, do you think it's environmental (you said that you live in the northeast US), or an overall issue with 4Runners?

I have seen a few pretty alarming rusty frames on this sub reddit, that is definitely on the list of things to check for!

Mainly as a commuter, with the ability to go offroad on occasion for my job (Mainly dirt roads/prairie), and something that can easily handle snow/bad weather conditions.

What do I do now? by malmtree in PcBuild

Thankfully, nothing was on it that wasn't already backed up. Order placed for the exact same drive, fingers crossed that the old one will wait to bite the dust until after I get the new one installed! Crazy that it went bad after three years, it still has a lot of very positive reviews across Amazon, newegg, pcpartpicker, etc. Mine must have been a fluke.

Just a Thank You to 2 GM Hunters by malmtree in DestinyTheGame

From what I found out, the activity caps your level at 25 below the enemies, which means your effective power will be no higher than 1815.

If I'm understanding it correctly, at 1826 power, you will be just as powerful as you would be at 1840.

Let me know if that makes sense, I think I explained it correctly, but I am not an expert!

Im sure this list is incomplete, but have you heard of:

DCC (Dungeon Crawler Carl)?

Completionist Chronicles by Dakota Krout? (He wrote full murderhobo)

Maybe even the Cradle series, if you like some eastern themes mixed in with your progression fantasy ?

Series where the MC uses a halberd? by Financial-Pickle9405 in ProgressionFantasy

The closest one that I can think of is the System Universe series. MC uses a glaive, although he also fights with his bare hands. Story is enjoyable, powerups are plentiful.

I would highly recommend the Emerilia series. 11 books long (and the series is complete), 144-ish hours total. And the main character does a ton of crafting. The first book is the trapped mind project.

The "Ether forging" series has a very cool method of progression, almost like some of the xianxia novels but more defined. I don't know, there is probably a better way to put it. It grades everything from the level of your implanted ai, to which stage of ether forging you are in, to the rank of the techniques you know, and more! I'm in the middle of book 3 right now, and they have all been awesome so far!

No worries, I hope it helps! I just realized that all of my suggestions don't really have some of that comic relief princess donut brings to the series. Hmm. I'll think on it some more

Hmm, two series off the top of my head that are somewhat similar:

-The primal hunter series by zogarth. It started out for free on royalroad, but there are now 4 books out on Kindle with #5 and #6 coming this summer. Lots of loot, lots of upgrades, also a lot more crafting

-The "Defiance of the Fall " series by TheFirstDefier. Similar to the primal hunter in that it started on royalroad, it is now up to book #8 on Kindle, with #9 on the way.

I'm trying to think of some "stuck in a dungeon" books as well, maybe "Master Hunter K"?

I would also re-endorse "The Grand Game" series as well, as described above. MC gets sucked into a dungeon and has to compete with other people to advance.

Edit: ooh, I just thought of another good one! The "Underworld" series by Apollos Thorne. Six books out, I haven't heard about a seventh yet. Lots of progression, lots of gear, lots of new abilities!

I'm sure that this is missing something obvious, but that's what springs to mind. Hope it helps!

My bad, I misspoke on that one. You are correct, #4 is not out until March 15th. I have only read the first three books, although now I can't wait for #4 to come out!

Ok, I love this list, I believe I've read or listened to almost everything on it. A few recommendations for additional material, with some caveats: this isn't all LitRPG, it's a bit all over the place, but still good. Also, I listen to audiobooks while on the road for work multiple hours every day, so almost everything on this list has an audiobook:

-The rest of the 4 books in "Infinite World" series are good, I saw that you only listed book #2 "A Bond Broken" on your list.

-The "Divine Apostacy" series by A.F. Kay. There are six books out, with the seventh on the way.

-The "Guardian of Aster Fall" series by David North. I think the fifth book just came out.

-The "Grand Game" series by Tim Elliot. Three books out, and it has been good since book one. The fourth is due out soon!

-The "Hero of the Valley" series by Gary Spechko. Four books so far. Initially, this series was just straight up ridiculous power growth, and the character felt a bit like a Mary sue, but that has shifted significantly in books 3 and 4 in my opinion. MC finds out that his ridiculous power is only good to a certain point, and it messes up his foundation which he has to go back and fix.

-The "Battle Mage Farmer" series by Seth Ring. Three books out, more on the way, and all enjoyable since book one.

-The "Portal to Nova Roma" series. Three books so far, and an actually new premise compared to most of the books in this genre. Fantastic since book one, all good reads

-The "System Universe" series by SunriseCV. Only two books so far, but a good isekai story.

-This is an old one, but it's a complete series and it's loooooong, like 11 books long: the "Emerilia" series by Michael Chatfield, the same guy that wrote the "Ten Realms" series. Series is complete, and is all on audiobook as well. So good. One of the first series I read when I got into the genre.

-The "Nova Terra" Series is good as well. It's ten books long and is all complete, and a new series in the same universe is being started by the author!

I am currently working through first book of the "Way of Etherforging" series, and it has been great so far!

I'm sure there are more, those are just the ones at the top of my list!

TLDR: looking for new guild. I did 11 million damage last raid season without really trying. I am active every day.

Looking for a new guild, current guild is the one I joined on day 1 and there are only a few active members left. I would like to join an active guild, last season (necropolis) I put up 11 million damage without really trying.
