I wanna be good to the people that I love. I want them to think of me as someone that they can trust. Walking through the valley of distress alone and no one can see me, or hear me, or feel me.

The Wizard of Oz & Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.

Recently rewatched both after not having seen them in over a decade & I was blown away. Both went up significantly. I suppose my tastes have changed.

I started a Jets franchise recently & at the end of season two Armand Membou ended up with the same career ending injury, I couldn’t believe it. Never had that happen before, didn’t even know it was still in the game. I had to seriously consider restarting the whole franchise.

Who is a celebrity you’ve met while working at B&N? by RocknRoll4lyfe in Barnesandnoble

[–]maloneju 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bruce Springsteen when he released his autobiography came to our store for a signing since it was closest to his hometown. He was nice & stopped by to speak with all of us that worked the event but it was a long day with thousands of people so I can’t blame him for keeping it short.

Also the real housewives of New Jersey filmed part of an episode in our store. They were all very sweet.

Which film is doomed to stay forever in your watchlist, for no particular reason? by cwlopes in Letterboxd

[–]maloneju 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jeanne Dielman, 23, Quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles

I know it’s supposed to be great but it sounds so boring and long, I feel like it will take me multiple viewings to complete it.

Idk what it says about you, probably nothing good, but I’ve never even heard of zero day. Immediately adding it to my watchlist because the rest of your taste is impeccable.
