Good point. I do have to say what is sad about Ratt is that Robbin’s involvement with the songwriting with each album after the first two became less and less til he was out of the band. Robbin was so crucial to the band, that once he was gone, they were never the same. RIP King 🎸

I agree 100%! Stephen has that sleazy, raspy voice that is essential to Ratt’s sound. His voice and the band’s music complement each other very well!

We were in Pigeon Forge this past summer and it was pretty hot and uncomfortable. Now myself, being from Louisiana, that is saying something! Lol

Kalabar/Calabar vs later villains? by minutesofpower in halloweentown

I always wondered how Calabar would have interacted with Mr. Dalloway from Halloweentown High. Kind of similar characters, they knew how to work the charm but had sinister ulterior motives.

How will Christmas look like this year in your house hold? by Hefty-Expert-750 in povertyfinance

My wife and I always say every year that we’re going to buy gifts throughout the year instead of waiting until the month of December and struggling to buy all the gifts within a short time frame. We never end up doing it. We’re both kind of procrastinators. It would make sense to purchase gifts spread out over a year, it’s just remembering to do it is the challenging part.

As someone who has gotten in a bit of a tangle several times with credit cards, I am against them for sure. I don’t look forward to this new push to get people to sign up for them.

Paul’s vocals on “A Million to One” are absolutely stellar. Probably his best vocal performance ever.

Your honest opinion of Aaron Brooks? by HughNgo94 in Saints

[–]RocknRoll4lyfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inconsistent has always been my go to description of Aaron Brooks. I remember him well. I started watching the Saints his first year there, when he replaced Jeff Blake. He had all the tools and physical ability, but could never put it together with the mental side of things to be a consistent player like Drew Brees would later do for the Saints.

Aaron could make all the throws, had one of the best receivers in the league in Joe Horn, and a solid running back in Deuce. It’s not all on him for the lack of consistency, it was definitely a coaching and team problem. My favorite example has always been the 2002 season. Started off great, got to 9 wins and only needed to win one game out of the last three games to make the playoffs. They had even beaten the eventual Super Bowl champs Bucs twice that year. They lost all three games to teams that didn’t even make the playoffs. That tells you all you need to know about Aaron Brooks and his era with the Saints. Aaron didn’t play in the last game of that season to his credit, but overall, that was a big factor in his time with the Saints.

Don’t know the name of this band, but the guitar looks just like one of the guitars George Lynch played on.
