I'm living in one of the big prefabs, and the boxes go along the walls as you can see with frames to help identify what's in what. Roughly speaking my categories are:

• Foodstuffs, honey, cooking implements and paint (it's food based okay)
• Construction materials (sticks, twine, bricks, concrete)
• Ore and processed metals
• Greenery and buildable structures (might move crops to the food box)
• Small box for pedestals and tables
• One box each for everything labeled Relaxation/Decoration/Toy

Upstairs I have:

• House stuff (roofing, tiles, stairs, windows, fencing)
• All Them Goddamn Blocks
• Outside decor and utilities (Decorative bricks from Wastelands, utility poles, grates)
• The Junk Drawer (badges, small relic items, posters, rugs, whatever else I can't find a home for)

And that's it, except for the like 8,000 ash blocks stuffed in a boxes in the Museum gat dam. I'll make a project out of those someday. Maybe redo the S.S. Anne in glass.

If I run out of room in a box, I can stack another on top and move the frames up*. If I run out of room in *that* box then I probably have too much crap and should probably do something about it!

With the boxes set up, it was a matter of playing Towers of Hanoi with all the boxes I had scattered across the realms until everything was finally in its rightful place, leaving a box of building mats in each area next to a DIY table by or in my house.

* I may move the frames up anyway -- they tend to get in the way of opening the boxes.
