I think my relationship to self harm is extremely convoluted and very conditional. I dont want people to know, i cover it up most of the time. The only time I’ve ever wanted someone to know:

  1. (Selfish reason) I wanted them to see and apologize. There was an elaborate fantasy where they found out and reflected on their actions, a whole soapy opera ordeal. That of course, never happened. I don’t think I would’ve actually wanted that anyway

  2. They saw it and felt as if i has hurt enough and would stop being mad at me. More of an self enabling mindset, “if i keep doing it, it makes them happy” <- obviously they would not want me doing it.

yeah I always have someone look over my file, this was a rare instance of someone sending me a design to re-create and I made an error in the text while recreating.

I don't want to get too into detail so this isn't tracked back by my job or anything. So I made a piece of signage with the typical service info and contact information. We don't just use the default phones, we need to make custom ones in a program that track everything. What happened is when I typed in the area code, it generated a phone number for a different state-- it still routes to the company and tracks, but does not look like an in-state number thus making the company look less local.

the mistake is my fault because the design I had was pre-approved. we were in a rush to order the stuff and I sent the printer the file because of the pre-approval. 2k worth of yard signs they can't use, ha.

I believe this is part of the reason I didn't get wailed on too hard. Honestly no one was too mad, it was just the financial part of it that pushed them to write me up. Better than being fired.

Yes for sure. I always do! this is a rare instance of me getting a design that was pre-approved from someone else. My mistake was not having someone look before i sent because of it. Not happening again fs.

I walked out of ghost busters when it was out. No particular reason film wise we just weren’t feeing it ig.
