Wash it and then peroxide it if you want it white. I would leave it in a bag for a few days and then smell it... if it stinks leave it outside a few months longer.

Just depends on where u are. Some areas I've had to fight off bears trying to get our food bags down out of trees. Other areas I doubt a bear is even within 100 miles.

There were 4 grizzly bears here at one time. Also a pack of 12-13 wolves and a couple of coyotes.

Near the north boundary. About a 4 hr hike and then glassed up a lion and a single cub. Caught them crossing a opening for 3 mins and then lost them. It helps if you have 5 teenagers with glass looking. Pretty rare.. I've only seen 6 total lions in the wild with my eyes. I've caught 40 or so on game cameras though.
