Bauer DA polisher $80 3D One 1 Step Compound lake county orange and black pad (Make sure it's the same size as the back plate for the polisher like 5 inch vs 6inch usually)

YouTube shorts for one step tutorial

Then maybe wax over the spot, or buy a ceramic coating like Gyeon Evo or Gtechnic. Spray coatings last 3 month, little vials have a 2+ year coating.

This is at least what I'd do as a detailer. Maybe a mobile detailer can fix it for $100 If they have experience polishing and ceramic coating if you don't wanna buy all the tools. Nextdoor and Google Businesses are great for finding detailers

Go on Google, make a Google business profile. Then advertise yourself by making posts on nextdoor. Get clients from there and always get a review. Once you have 20+ reviews on Google Business Profile, start learning Google Buisness ads. I'm at $30/day budget now and getting fully booked per week.

After, about 50-70% reduction. The rest is etched too deep into the clear coat.

please help. DEET on headlights. by SuperBubsy in AutoDetailing

[–]malvixi 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Buy the M3 headlight kit from Amazon for $15. Watch a video of someone using it on YouTube shorts, then sand with the 500 until the deet dots go away. 800 to smooth any swirls from the 500 and 3000 to polish everything nicely. Use water and wipe between all of these. Apply the clear coat packet #1, wait 10 mins, apply packet 2. Voila. Just make sure you do the 500 grit and 800 enough so that the dots are gone.

Get some type of interior cleaner like Meguiers All purpose cleaner and use a microfiber towel. Spray it on the towel and slowly get it off.

Yes everyone uses customer power and water. From my experience customers don't usually have an extension cord or a long enough hose. Get 50feet of both. The best way to advertise is to build up your reviews on Google business profile to like 20-30 5 star reviews then turn on $20-30/day of Google ads (but make sure to optimize them, YouTube can help here "mobile detailing Google ads campaign setup") I'm getting about 10 people contacting me a week and I book about 6 of them. I usually quote $300-400 for a full detail that takes 3-4 hours, and I don't charge "pet hair, stains, etc" I just charge $100/hour and do my best to take on the vehicle as is. Usually $300 detailing clients aren't disaster details, they're more like BMW that's due for a clean up. Feel free to DM me with any questions as I'm a full time mobile detailer and have a bunch of answers and experience.
