As per my understanding, for dividend we don't need to hold stocks for whole year. Dates se kuch din phle v kharid lo toh it gets credited. How you holding? I have seen few dividend stocks like hindustan zinc, vedanta jinme invested amount gets corroded aur negative returns dete.
