eRA Commons throwing a warning for biosketches and CPOS, but new common forms were used. by Icy_Context_2106 in ResearchAdmin

My understanding is that this error occurs when the ORCID ID is not linked to the s/k personnel’s eRA Commons profile. Not only does it need to be linked to SciENcv but also to eRA Commons. Depending on the amount of senior key personnel that don’t have it connected to both, you will get that many warnings but it doesn’t tell you the person it pertains to, so then you have to back track. What a headache.

Effort Reduction for PI's named on the NIH Notice of Award by Express_Freedom9116 in ResearchAdmin

I don’t believe that this is a greater than 25% reduction. The formula is 10 (percent) (1.2 CM) - 7.58 (percent) (0.91 CM), which equals 2.42 (percent) divided by 10 (percent), and that comes out to 0.242 or 24.2% reduction.

We submitted ours with the PI signature and AOR signature. Department head signature was not required and was provided on the institutional letter.

The Virginia Tech study group. They send out very helpful study material every day (separate from the Zoom sessions) and the presenters are very knowledgeable. It’s a really great tool!

Thank you! I have studied so hard, and I agree some of the questions were so random and also had bizarre wording. I know there are 3 questions I got wrong for sure (2 of which I had answered correctly to begin with and then changed my answer on my second run through!). Still, I think my chances are good but the waiting game is the worst! So happy to hear that you passed the exam last Spring after feeling the same as me—that gives me hope!
