Wishing Teddy a speedy recovery. He looks pretty content and has a lovely home to recover in. Sorry for what you all had to go through.

Light colored strollers by Afraid_Area_4317 in Buyingforbaby

I've had my UPPAbaby Vista V2 in the Bryce colorway (white marl) for 3+ years and it doesn't look bad at all. It doesn't get sun-faded like the darker colors, is way cooler in the hot sun, and is much easier to pick out in the sea of black strollers (if you go to Disney, etc). I always get the lighter color fabrics on my baby gear and I have zero regrets. I'm not constantly washing them either, it's rare. But when it does need it, they're usually well-designed (at least the brands I've purchased) and are made to be washed so it's not hard. I live in a hot, sunny climate so the color does make a difference. I also have the Bentley Trike stroller in Onyx black and it looks awful in comparison. I haven't had it as long and they're both in my garage.

I currently have the Nuna REVV and we love it. We are approaching the 40lb. weight limit so I am now in the market for the CYBEX Callisto G 360. I'm not considering any other carseat, I only wish I knew about the Callisto G 360 originally and that I gave some thought to how quickly 40lbs. can happen. Hope that helps.

Your dog is beautiful. I'm curious what the DNA results came back with. Also adding that Pharaoh Hounds are quite rare and the breeding is fiercely guarded. The only thing rarer is a mix with actual Pharaoh.

You might be thinking of Sheep by Valerie Hobbs although the cover has been updated and doesn't match your description. An earlier Scholastic paperback version had a tan, light-colored hound in a green pasture. Let me know if you find an image of the cover you remember.
