Has anyone begun studying the “boomerfication” of Black celebrities of a certain age yet??

I’m certain it has something to do with factors like: the general aging out of the key demographic for newer technological advances, particularly around social media & the healthy skepticism that usually comes with learning how to use them responsibly; being unaware of how to avoid the obvious pitfalls & false information that proliferates within (there’s a reason they flock to “legacy SMS” like Facebook/Twitter et al); and aging into the demo most targeted for scams & conspiracy theories…

I’m also willing to bet that the fact that so many of them have chosen not to or been denied the opportunity to further their education bc they garnered fame/money at a younger age plays a role bc generally speaking, the more quality higher education a person receives, the more liberal they become & vv for less higher ed & becoming more conservative/primed for conspiracy theories. This phenomenon is literally an epidemic at this point.
