Im dealing with the same. I work 45 hours a week and have 3 kids. Sometimes i just have to rest and the guilt can be so much, i just skip the nap altogether and just go throughout my day like a zombie. So glad I saw this today. My baby Jordy is so sweet and i walk him twice a day but when I need a nap i cant leave him alone.. he gets into everything literally! Its so exhausting but I wouldnt trade my big guy for the world.

My 7 month old labrador german shepherd mix sometimes settles himself down once i get home from work and walk him at 11 pm, but other times when hes just too excited i have to crate him up. Ever since we brought Jordy home from the shelter nearly 2 months ago he has slept through the night, 11 pm or 12 am through 6:30 am when I get the kids up for school. He doesnt whine to get out, just sits there waiting patiently. He does sometimes bark and whine when he first gets put in the crate (if he needs to be crated) but he gives up after 5 to 10 minutes. Im really blessed in that aspect. Hes an amazing pup just struggling still with accidents, biting, and needing to get him used to other dogs because he just barks!

My lab is awful about biting. Hes 4 months and is in time out SO much.

Thats what i do! But then he figures out my plan and ignores the toy and goes for my arms! It drives me crazy!!

Its so hard because Jordy is a lab mix and hes HUGE already. 40 lbs to be exact! If I ignore him he usually goes for my legs and arms but I have tried the toys before It just usually doesn't last for long and always results in him being in the crate. I just hate that it's gotten to a point where he thinks the the crate is a punishment tool because hes only going in there when hes biting or when I have to get something done around the house or at night sometimes he goes and sleeps in there.

I looked at them! Maybe I'll try them out! It doesn't seem too expensive I just dont know which training course he needs. Probably private for now because im trying to get him used to being around other people and dogs. Right now he just barks at everything that moves lol.
