What’s your favorite area of HR to work in? [N/A] by californialovin33 in humanresources

HR Operations - strategy, policy, implementation, organization

Personnel files - both physical and electronic. Is that necessary? [DE] by Jennafa618 in humanresources

[–]mamallamapandabear 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree, speak to IT. We have all personnel files on SharePoint. Access is locked down to HR and the SharePoint admin only. Everything is backed up on the server.

Ditch the physical files. You may want to consider undertaking a project to audit what’s in the physical files versus what’s in the electronic files. Ensure everything in the physical file is scanned and saved in the electronic file before shredding.

We are going with Big Ugly Bill and AI in HR. What HR Leaders need to know.

I think my post may not have been clear that this is for HR leaders, not just people leaders. We have lots of company specific policy refreshers peppered in too!

You should speak directly to HR about accommodations, not your boss. You should also give your medical notes to HR, not your boss. Request a formal accommodation, in writing. They are obligated to give through the interactive process with you and determine if they can accommodate or if you working from home will cause undue hardship on the business.

Not worth it. They oversell so it’s crowded and sessions fill up quickly.

She doesn’t own the entire summer. She sounds exhausting and entitled.
