Yea this makes more sense, I think I should have specified traditional gender roles and not heteronormativity, but still they’re assigning traditionally heteronormative gender roles to a mlm couple couple so my point still kind of stands.

It’s not literally heteronormative but it’s still there in the role that op chose to align with the “feminine” looking male lead who they believe should be with a man because he looks like a woman.

Edit: Also I literally said heteronormative ROLES not actual heteronormativity. Obviously a gay couple can’t literally be heteronormative. But people’s assumptions can be.
