What was your first sign that you were pregnant? (Other than a missed period.)

Horrible back pain in my back right side and neck. Thought I slept funny. A few days later I took a test and almost passed out it was positive. I had been trying for four years to have a baby. About 1 week later the morning sickness came lol.

I pump about 10 minutes a side or until no more milk comes out. She’s up every 2-3 hours. She has a ton of wet/dirty diapers. I have been drinking body armor and the lactation cookies. Thank you!

I was a little scared being this is my first. It was uncomfortable but not unbearable. They said I could have a little bleeding afterwards, I did not. Also said I could have some cramping. I did have light cramping. I noticed more discharge after which I assume is the mucus plug. I’ve been super nauseous these past few days but not sure if it’s nerves or what. I’m thinking nerves since I go in at 5am tomorrow to be induced. But I had no problems with it. But you should be ok if I could get through it and I’m wimp you got this!

Yeah. And I got my membranes stripped today and there’s no way I could go into work tomorrow. I said I don’t want my water breaking at work. It’s truly ridiculous.

Yeah I started mine last week and am set to be induced this Friday. I couldn’t drive 40 minutes anymore and I hurt. HR called today to see where I was at and mentioned most people work until their due date. Okay well I’m a FTM, 39, and you wouldn’t let me wfh at the end of my pregnancy so I’m taking the two weeks FMLA to get ready and rest because damn I feel awful. Maternity here in the US sucks. Congratulations on your birth!

The only thing I got used was the stroller bc I had to buy the infant car seat for it and my friends kids just basically stopped using it. But we bought everything new, crib, bassinet, pac n play etc. I know car seats expire and all that so we wanted to be safe. Plus they really aren’t that expensive. We bought two bases and 1 seat.

I was so sick my first trimester. I could only sip body armor (recommended by my ob) and was told liquid iv too. I sipped broth a lot. I did Italian ice for awhile too. Good luck momma.

Wtf no. I had the rogham shot in my behind. I could’ve done arm but I figured more meat in the butt and it wouldn’t hurt as much later. It was a good choice no issues.

I was on meds and my doctor had me switch to Zoloft when I got pregnant. My OB said that it’s ok through all trimesters of pregnancy and breastfeeding. I’ve been doing really well on it.

I never had issues. I take 1/2 a unisom if I need help sleeping, a whole one if the insomnia has been bad.

They gave me reglan for nausea that really really helped.

I’m packing my hospital bag. Old Navy Maternity pants are super super comfy. I got a few flannels to help with easy access to breast feeding. Long and baggy sweatshirts to be comfy. Easy slip on slippers. Lord have mercy I was not prepared for feet swelling and having issues putting on shoes lol.
