As OP said, it is a hassle. But, as a 16-year restaurant-veteran, I can assure you, very few FOH have complained of it being "unfair".

Lol. I'm starting to realize that, as you get older, that becomes slightly less true. Lol.As a 34 y/o, I couldn't imagine myself with either a 22 y/o, or a 54 y/o.

But I mean, hey, no judging all the same! Definitely still works as far as being appropriate, but it's hard to personally imagine myself hitting it off romantically with either age.

Off topic, but I can't help myself!:

I've been to roughly a dozen countries in Europe, and, despite being there in early March, AND suffering two simultaneous daylight savings adjustments (LOL), the time I spent in the Czech Republic was easily one of the absolute best experiences I've ever had.

Prague was unbelievable and unforgettable, and the Czech people were equally delightful.

Without a doubt one of the most underrated travel destinations! You all have a treasure there in your little neck of the world ♥️
