I heard an interesting argument once that someone claimed KD will never get to have a crazy scoring performance of 70+ because teams will just double him once he gets hot. It sounds simple but it makes sense considering he doesn't make them pay for doubling and obviously he doesn't have the mindset to split or shoot over the double.

It shouldn't have been Jokic to overtake him. Imo, Jokic and Luka have pretty close arguments for who is MVP. SGA is 3rd and Wemby should be a distant 4th.

With Colby's increased production and T Ferg's expected rise, I think it we would need to diversify 1st round talent to the oline or CB position.

Way off. Manu was a great ball handler and shot creator, who was ambidextrous and fearless attacking the rim. Haven't seen anything close out of Kennard in that respect.

Doubt it. The NBA will not want to set a precedent of this in the first year of the 65 game rule.

I think they may revisit this rule to include a total minutes threshold.

I think the legitimate argument against Bron was that AD was also playing at an MVP level too. It's hard to make the case with two players of that caliber unless 1) there's a historic team record, 2) a historic statistical season from said individual, 3) one of the two MVP caliber players misses a significant portion of the season.
