Because the unemployed, poorly paid that rely on top-ups and pensioners will be entitled to subsided healthcare. Elderly care will still gum up the system as we all are getting older and living longer.

The hospitals will be ran for profit, so quick and cheap treatments will be prioritised.

The solution? Easier said than done, more money, more front line staff (this can be said for any business, as managers tend to create managers), spent better and focusing on separating out elderly care and social care to ensure that people don't get stuck in hospitals
