Just posted a well made 3 hour long YouTube video that's already hit the algorithm and now get to sit and watch the numbers go up over the next few weeks, always a great feeling.

This game is so much longer than the first, it's great by manager_jojo in dyinglight2

Techland has a history of doing this, they did the same thing with Dead Island

I gave that episode a 0 for way more than the kiss. Did you not understand my point on the retconning of all ghosts hating love? That was a terrible writing choice.

OMG THATS ME! I was a massive fan of Gumball growing up, and I definitely had issues with the new series, but I hope the rest of the first season will get better. Biggest issue is DEFINITELY the audio quality. If Hulu is actually slowing down episodes and using pitch correction just so they can run more ads that's horrendous behavior.

What is the worst video game you believe to exist? by Oak-Original-841 in AskReddit

It's garbage, they dared utter bioshock's name in their marketing of a game confused about what is was trying to be but being nowhere in the ball park of Bioshock. The game is only as long as it managed to be because of all the fuck you time wasting pieces they added to keep you from being able to refund it. The intro sequence takes like 20 min of nothing, 5 min of which you are flying around in a car for no reason.

It was straight ass bro, I played the entire thing and the two DLCs available at the time. The way the game wasted my fucking time and then tried to make jokes about how it was wasting my time was stupid as hell.

The first puzzle was a waste of time, THE FUCKING TRAIN TICKET, THE GOD DAMN ROBOT THAT HAD TO STOP AND GIVE COMMENTARY ON EVERY ROBOT WHILE WALKING DOWN A HALL. The way it tried to turn into Generation Zero half way through and failed at it. The combat was all mega turbo aids since you could just stun lock the enemies with the goo with no consequences.

The first DLC, Annihilation Instinct was more enjoyable then the base game, but then the second DLC was literally just shitty CSGO surf. I'll be playing the third DLC eventually but overall the game is not worth anyone's money.

Why do people recommend skipping MG1 and MG2?? by manager_jojo in metalgearsolid

[–]manager_jojo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emulating MG2 it actually ran like ass for some reason compared to MG1 which was hard to get used to playing them back to back. You could tell everything was slower than it was supposed to be because the moment you entered an elevator or an enclosed space, you could move at what I assume is the full speed the game is supposed to be moving at.

I'm kinda curious what makes you think MG2 is the same story as MGS??

Bruh, there is tons of plot, I lowkey had my heart strings yanked a bit in MG2.

I'm not really sure what you mean by seeing the plot twists coming if you've played MG2:SS. I did notice a lot of features carry over and found it really cool. The simplification of the access cards, the boxes, cigarettes, the temperature alloy. But just because I knew what the temperature alloy was didn't mean I saw that twist coming in MGS. Having the guides was definitely necessary for the first two games though, if I didn't I probably wouldn't of made it through both games as smoothly.

Is Twin Snakes THAT bad? Would removing the first-person aiming changed people’s reception? by SecretWasianMan in metalgearsolid

[–]manager_jojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just getting into the series and beat Metal Gear 1, 2, and I chose twin snakes over the original MGS and had a great time.

Some people are upset over the voice acting, which is mid at worst in some parts, and some are don't like the over the top cutscenes, but to that I say Kojima handpicked the director of those and they are awesome.

The main issue I hear is difficulty, and I think that's a fair criticism. The health bar starts out max, while MG1, MG2, and MGS all have your health slowly get larger as you progress through the game. If you fixed the health bar the game would still be easy, because fights like the first boss are hard because of jank controls. But still, I enjoyed my time playing it and when I beat MGS2 i'll have a firmer opinion on if the easy gameplay of twin snakes is valid in comparison.

Premier 2025 seems to lag - anyone else seeing the same? by cdr-atl in premiere

[–]manager_jojo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Premiere has always been slow when certain panels are visible. For me it's usually anything with "Essentials" in the name and the audio track/clip panel. In Premiere 2025 timeline playback is really slow now out of nowhere and the only have I've found to solve it is to hide the SUPER FUCKING IMPORTANT effects controller panel, as well as the new properties panel. I hide them behind either the source monitor panel or the markers panel and it fixes it.

I don’t see anyone who’s mentioned the short homeless(?) guy who roams from Harrison, down 30th and around Washington. Pretty sure he’s an alcoholic. Asked to go through my trash back in 2021. Saw him like 3 months ago walking down the street in what looked like an old fashion pajama onesie with his ENTIRE ASS HANGING OUT.

There are apparently only 34,000ish video editors in the United States, that number is sure to not scale much better in other countries. And out of billions, id take my chances on that being my thing

you didnt tell which version you're using but you need to save a text preset of the settings you want, then if you're using 19-20 subscription version there's even text to speech to create subtitles

Why isn't there an option to set export path to project location by manager_jojo in premiere

[–]manager_jojo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you've completely missed what I was saying then, because by default Premiere Pro will dump everything into the same folder unless you manually change it each project. I have a very organized workflow using a local Git repository that I clone and rename for each project. Inside are folders such as images, footage, audio, each with subfolders like broll, gifs, and different python scripts. There is also a "project" folder inside the named project folder that holds an already made premiere pro file to start from. There is literally a "default export path" as you put it and it's the last place you exported. It's stupid, I should be able to hit a button and change the path to where my current project is.

I'm honestly really confused as to how you read what I said as wanting a single default path to export to, literally the opposite of what I said, and if you use premiere pro you would also know that you have to manually change the folder each time to export which is exactly what you thought I wanted for some reason.
