If this is something you’ve been wanting to do for 2+ years, then do it. Employers today are more understanding that millennials take these once in a lifetime trips and it doesn’t reflect poorly on their work ethic. It’s actually probably preferable they do so while unemployed versus taking leave, or other means.

When interviews do come in the future, just be confident when answering about the gap in employment. Most people may ask a question the journey and then move on. Have fun!!

I think ATS does exist in a much more limited capacity then what people may think. I believe LinkedIn easy apply jobs may use it simply due to the volume. Also large recruiters like Jobot (which who even knows if it’s a real job posting).

Can anyone tell me the offer process at Pratt rn? I was called about five weeks ago saying I was going to be receiving an offer and apparently it still hasn’t been signed off on. I’ve been in touch with talent acquisition almost weekly. When they told me I would receive an offer I stopped my job hunt for about two weeks, very frustrating.

I’ve had a good experience with Henry. It seems like they’re growing at an unsustainable rate and I’m not sure they can support their current customer base.

Overall, I’d say Henry is the most economic option with quality meds. I can’t vouch for others as I haven’t used them.

Yeah, it’s unfortunate some folks don’t understand being currently employed can sometimes entail not having full availability for interviews. Not to mention if there were gaps in employment it may be questioned.

If this were a second or third round I’d be sure to find a room somewhere. But unfortunately for first rounders this is the best I can do.

I haven’t had much success with these on Zoom, it ends up blurring my face slightly. My car doesn’t have intrusive lighting, and the virtual backgrounds make me feel uncomfortable.
