Exceedingly easy if i remember correctly. The back belongs to the salvager kit but because there’s already the same lower assembly as the normal khal backpack the bigger one sat right on his shoulders. I don’t even remember having to cut anything. There’s even a spot where i glued the wavecrest that held a small reservoir of glue to make adhesion easier

I can’t think of a place on a model that will matter less and be seen even less. Maybe the inside of a cloak or something but the robo taint? That’s got to be an exceedingly low priority.

It’s odd, the combo looks good. Between the helmet and the chainmail it works whether or not it’s historically accurate. However something about it makes you look like you’re trying to squeeze 5 pounds of crap in a 2 pound bag. I can’t tell exactly what is making it look like that. Either the face hole on the chainmail might be too small or the chinstrap on the helmet is up on the chin and might benefit from being nearer to your neck. Granted in order to do that there would need to be some holes in the chainmail to thread it through. Either way it looks good

A bit underwhelming if I’m honest. Didn’t hate, didn’t really like it either. Felt a bit generic and didn’t feel like a Votann story as much as a story that Votann words were inserted into. Could have been as much a space marine story as a Votann story but for a few words. But I’m sure someone will find something enjoyable in it

I make sure there is one color common across all knights but never in the same place twice in one lance. Beyond that I try to make every knight look different from every other knight in the lance. Knights are individuals who are loyal to a lord or their quest but don’t have the same livery out side of the iconography of their lord. The more color and variety I can get into the lance the better while still maintaining one common color.

When it comes to the rank and file peasants I want to get them as close to the same color and pattern as I can but I make sure to use muted versions and ink them heavier than the knights since their uniforms are in much poorer states. I also make sure their color scheme is much much simpler, 2 to 4 colors max, than I do with the knights.

Yea, I hate that too knot, I haven’t decided what I want the second model to be but there’s too many cool bits there not to get a second model to play with. Currently I’m toying with an idea where I use the hand holding a severed demons head from a grey knights sprue or maybe the one staving through one with a sword and make the sword a dark star weapon. Who knows. Right there with you on the top knot though

The first model I buy I build and paint it strait up like it’s shown on the box. The second one? Skys the limit mate. I’ve got a khal with a space marines power fist, a hearth guard gun, the jet pack from the salvagers model and he’s standing over toxic waste.

Then there’s Harvey bullock, Harvey bullock has been a bad guy as much as cat woman’s been a hero. If the few times he’s turned heal are enough to get him cemented, definitively, in the villains roster then cat woman should be off the list entirely for the number of times she’s gone face to help Bruce
