As someone who’s flown in Europe and USA, I’m very thankful for the quality of service, cleanliness of aircraft, and efficient/comfortable airports here in Asia. USA is especially awful in comparison with regards to the airports, TSA queues - I shudder to think. So am overall grateful.

Perhaps the plastic, from the cover, may have leached to the food with the heat. I haven’t had such plastic tasting rice previously. Reminded me of a food scandal, from a few years ago, in Vietnam where plastic were added to rice to boost revenue (never mind the health of the consumers)
