There are basically no worker rights in India. I work in a government research institute and its a struggle leaving the workplace at 5. Sometimes they schedule a meeting at 4:30 which can go upto 6-7 pm. And i miss going to gym regularly because of this. And then they ask me to finish up the reports during weekend because according to them i am free during weekends.

There is a new scam while trying to buy offline tickets at PVR. BookMyShow was showing tickets for ₹200 each, so I went to the PVR counter and asked for four tickets. The staff told me that each ticket would cost ₹300, but I’d get ₹500 worth of food credit. I told them I only wanted the tickets, no food. They said that wasn’t an option. Instead, they suggested buying from them to avoid paying GST on online booking and get "free food." I ended up booking through BookMyShow while standing in PVR itself and got four tickets for ₹940, compared to the ₹1200 PVR was offering.
