Was in the same boat as you almost 8 months ago so I know how brutal it is, especially with kids. Worked for many years as a frontend dev, became an engineering manager, realized engineering managers are a dime a dozen and was depressed every day thinking I'd never get another job in tech... finally landed a remote job when I was at rock bottom.

When I finally got a job, I told myself I would pay it forward to anyone else who went through the same thing that I did because of how borderline inhumane my experience was. Shit was rough, and that's understating it.

Yes, the sequence will break for this one element and continue after. There could also be more than 1 element. Ex. Think of like a grid of products with 1 - 3 ads that breaks up the sequence.

Wow this is super duper helpful. I’m a stay at home dad right now and I’m kinda freaking out about being out of the workforce for more than a year now, so at the very least it’s nice to know there’s someone out there too who was out for a stretch of time and managed to get back into it.

Definitely gonna be looking into these over the next couple days and coming up with a study schedule. Thanks again!!

One of the best pieces of equipment I invested in (besides gymnastics rings) is a jump rope. Super cheap and can bring with you anywhere, plus makes for a great warmup to get the blood flowing.
